Charming location

Reviewed By benplus

Charming location which is located very close to the Souq! The staff is friendly and the Hotel has a spot on the rooftop which is perfect to relax. However, the receptionist was not very welcoming and the restaurant should serve basic drinks at night (the had 7up only but no coke, water, etc.). Overall we enjoyed being at the Hotel.

Spacious place for breakfast or just sunbathing . Rooms are also well designed. Price is so good for this facilities of he hotel. Also thankyou so much to Manager Who assisted us very kindly and informatively in the evening at our visit. I definetely stay here in my Nizwa visit. Also there is SPA. Rooms have so nice bath/ jakuzi equipments. Its also i think for a honeymoon or event hotel :) Clean, decorative, reasonable price, nice team.

Wadi El Arbeieen Resort

Amazing gem in the middle of the Wadi Al Arbeieen.

Reviewed By annecaroline011

Liked · This is a hidden gem in the middle of Oman, right in the Wadi Al Arbeieen, where you can do hiking, kaiaking, or just admire the majestic nature. The staff is the best kind of people and make everything they can to provide the best experience, such as serving traditional coffee and Karak, done in front of you during the sunset, in the outdoors typical majili sofas. At night they cooked us barbecue and light up a bonfire. Disliked · nothing, it is all amazing. The only thing people might say is that the shower is on top of the toilet, but it wasnt a problem a all, the room is super cozy and cute, all is new.

Nice mountain lodge

Very nice lodge in beautiful mountain landscape, staff very friendly and helpful. We celebrated New Year’s Eve with great dinner with cake! The food was fantastic, local, delicious! There are mountain trails and you can hike the near peaks and of course Snake canyon. Rooms are basic but clean.

Serabis Hotel

Comodissimo

Reviewed By anlike

Hissen Al Misfah

Good for no more than a one night stay in a village with few good choices

Reviewed By chumSF

Omani style guesthouse with buffer dinner offered. Nice views from its "restaurant" on the top floor, although mobility-restricted people will have a hard time navigating its steep and uneven stone stairs. I was given a room on the ground floor, which was noisy since it faced the street. Most unpleasant were the mosquitos or insects there which bite me overnight as I slept, leaving sore, exposed skin even 2 weeks afterwards. What I am upset about the most was that I was promised a room with wifi (which I tested beforehand and got a wifi connection), but the wifi connection turned out to be so weak and slow that it was basically non-existent. The man in charge tells a good story about his family's history in the town and leads a tour, but his story and charm changed abruptly when I complained about no wifi.
