Nice place, but doesn’t use full potential
Reviewed By ThomasArabiaHotel: What a glorious old building in the middle of Miltenberg. It looks impressive from the outside, however, it has a bit of 80’s flair inside (bathrooms and so), rather than old-style feel. Gasthaus: all good, with tasty local beers. Both businesses are unrelated.

Very nice family-run place with excellent beer
Reviewed By rustyshackleford50We stayed here for one night on our way through Germany. The place has been renovated very recently and is quite nice. We ate at the on-site restaurant and the food was very, very good. The beer was even better. We felt very at home spending the evening in the restaurant before going to sleep. The beds were comfortable. The rooms were clean. The bathroom was furnished well. It's a good stop in a nice little town. They'll take good care of you!

Very clean, lovely host
Reviewed By Sha6870Less than a minute brisk walk to tram and bus stops, pharmacy, cafe, restaurant, newsagent and alcohol shop all in five minutes walking distance (beware most close around 6pm but the Doner and Pizza is open, separate review to follow). Rooms are warm, clean, no ground floor room so unsuitable if there are mobility issues. The host is a lovely lady, I had lost my wallet on the bus and she went over and above to help me find it. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation

Eenvoudig, maar goed.
Reviewed By Ellen HOvernachtingsadresje. Eenvoudig maar goede kamer met balkon.Eigen badkamer met douche. Mooie omgeving voor een wandeling na een autorit. Prima ontbijt, geen probleem om je thermosfles te laten vullen met koffie voor onderweg. WIFI in restaurant.

A simple hotel room with acceptable food in the restaurant
Reviewed By AnnikanordenbergBrauhaus am See offers poor and very simple rooms. It is located nearby a small lake where you have the possibility to do water activities such as water skiing. The food was acceptable, but my perception about the whole Brauhaus is that it was rather uncomfortable, gloomy and not especially clean neither in the restaurant area, nor in the room. No familiar love is dedicated to this hotel!

Apparte la piccola scomoda pendenza della terrazza, che dava un senso iniziale di disagio pero'subito poi rimpiazzata dalle comodissime poltroncine da giardino, ci siamo rilassati e abbiamo degustato piatti tipici del luogo con abbondanti porzioni alla bavarese degne di lottatori di Sumo. Nzomma dopo quell abboffata ci siamo fatti una passeggiata nel parco naturale per alleggerirsi di qualche caloria. Non ho dato 5 stelle perche' in qualche modo e uscito fuori quel modo di fare autoctono che li contraddistingue dall eccellenza e li declassa ad una piu che sufficenza sull ospitalita'.
