One Axe Pursuits

Launched in 2001, the ONE AXE name speaks to Director Frederick Schuett’s character of living life on the edge. On his first mountaineering adventure, he complained to his instructor that the icy slope wasn’t much of a challenge. The instructor took away one of his axes. Unknowingly, he created ONE AXE Fred. Frederick’s passion for climbing and his lessons on the mountain are the catalyst to the three divisions of ONE AXE Inc. ONE AXE Team building provides creative solutions for corporate training and development. Our corporate programs provide fresh and unique team building with exciting experiential learning opportunities that accelerate relationships, create cohesiveness and deliver results. We booked 2 days fishing with Sturgeon Hunter, The booking process went great. We asked for Steve, the company owner, as our guide, since all people going out fishing with him were very satisfied. And Steve delivered ! Showed us an amazing time on the water, he takes his work very seriously :) when they're saying they catch more and bigger fish, they're spot on ! He was trying to get us big fish and, boy oh boy we had to put some hard work to get them out of the water..... Lots of fish between 6 and 9 feet, bigest one over 400 lbs. Last hour we got a 7 and a 8 feet sturgeons, 5 seconds apart. Hard to describe the feeling of excitement :) Anyways, me and Natasha we're both sore today leaving the beautiful Fraser River Valley with tons of beautiful memories, videos and pictures. Thank you Steve and Danny for such a great time ! We will be back next year !!!

Went with hubby and our niece over Labour Day weekend. We climbed late afternoon on a pretty chilly day. I’m not an expert hiker and I’ve only started hiking this year so every step for me was accompanied by huffing-and-puffing. I stayed about a few metres down and just enjoyed the unobstructed view of Prince of Wales Hotel while hubby and niece went all the way to the top.

We had a great riding experience! Our 11 year old daughter loves horses and she had a lot of fun; Karen and Bill, the owners, are very experienced and make you feel like family. The riding adventure we did was to Ward's Falls and it was spectacular; even better riding on those beautiful Horses. The horses were a pleasure to ride and well mannered. Thank you Karen and Bill for the riding tips and the history you shared with us on this ride; your knowledge of the area added a special touch to our experience. Looking forward to other riding adventures and will be back! The Parrsboro area is very beautiful sitting for riding adventures; a lot to explore. Enjoy the horses, the ride, the scenery, the history and the stories Karen and Bill will share of the area as you ride. We highly recommend "Spirit Reins Ranch" for your riding adventures.
