A wonderful lunch on Friday 30th October 20, we shared a main meal of Pork Scallopine , salad and chips on one plate the pork on our own plates (very accommodating) and a desert each, orange cake and sticky date pudding, each with cream and ice cream, we usually miss desert, so this was a bonus. Glass of Rose and a glass of pale ale, hard to top. Excellent service, wonderful view and excellent value for money.

Adelaide Bar Boys

“There is nothing to do in Adelaide”. This is an unfortunate misconception. As two local boys, we know our city has much to offer. Adelaide Bar Boys takes you on a tour to resolve to this misconception. These tours showcase some of the best South Australian beverages, whilst revealing some of Adelaide’s best bars. A night out with the Adelaide Bar Boys is designed for everyone to enjoy. Adelaide Bar Boys inspiration comes from a recent European adventure, where we experienced some of the best bars in the world. Though these bars were award winning and one of a kind, it wasn't always easy to find them without insider knowledge and travel experience. This is where we come in. We have done the hard work for you. Adelaide has a distinct advantage. Everything is walking distance. This allows a walking tour like ours to educate tourists and locals alike that not only is there “something to do” in Adelaide, but we have a bar scene that can only be described as first class.

Great pub brewery, great selection of beer. Live music too. Good beers from other breweries on tap but I chose to drank the beers they brewed themselves and was not disappointed (and I’m a big beer lover!)

Alpha Box & Dice

Alpha Box & Dice Cellar Door is a unique, boutique winery in the heart of McLaren Vale, South Australia. AB&D are attempting to create an 'Alphabet of Wine', where every wine we create reflects a different letter of the alphabet. Each wine comes with their own unique identity and personality – no two AB&D wines are alike – either in style, variety or appearance. For those with more ‘typical’ tastes I can see why they might not enjoy this but if you enjoy something from left field this is a must-visit on any MV tour. Extensive (free!) tasting. Some unusual wines (maybe I don’t dislike whites after-all...) and the passion and knowledge for what they were doing, as a business at the start of it’s journey, really shone through. Easy to see why this place is garnering such a cult-following. And great tunes at the cellar-door too for anyone who loves post-hardcore or 90’s indie-rock. Same spirit as a craft-brewery. Down to Earth attitude and a desire to try something different.
