We had been recommended to visit this place by friends who had dined here recently and were not disappointed. After a long walk, we visited it for lunch and found a cheerful welcome together with a refreshing pint of Orchard Thieves Cider which we tasted for the first and not the last time. The scampi & chips was excellent and very good value too. The place is small and homely. However the pool table, which as not being used at the time of our visit, seemed to take up a significant proportion of the floor space of this delightful wee village pub. We will certainly call in here again.

Booked a table for evening meal with wife and kids on 1st Nov. Were met by very friendly staff and seated straight away. I wasn’t sure which beer to have so the barman gave me a couple of tasters to make mind up, really good thought. Waitress was quite bubbly and chatted to kids while taking our order. The menu was very good and the specials sounded great. Good portions and great presentation will definitely bring us back. The restaurant was quite busy but didn’t feel crowded or noisy and had a warm homely feel.

Reliable, attention to detail, yummy snack lunches now also! Cocktails/Rocktails wow just wow! Their approach to Covid second to none have felt 100% safe on any visits! 10/10

A traditional Scottish Pub where locals and tourists are made more than welcome by the friendly staff .... karaoke at the weekend aswell as scottish folk music when available ... great selections of Scottish Gins and some wierd and wonderful cocktails
