My Wife and I recently visited Singapore and were expecting to visit Malaysia, albeit briefly. The first tour we looked at was rejected after some time. The second tour was accepted less than one week from our tour. Travel delightfully accepted our original request and we happily travelled expecting to do this tour. We waited at out hotel for a few hours and then spent money travelling by Taxi to the address listed in the website to try and access the tour as advised to do so by our hotel. Travel Delightfully did not respond to many many telephone calls by me, my wife, the hotel and the security guard at the address listed on their website over a span of many hours.

Did a Forefathers Chinatown Tour with my family last week. Angel, our tour guide, shared many interesting historical facts of Chinatown which I have not previously known. The wall murals by Yip Yew Chong are beautiful as they reflect scenes from the past. Angel was also patient and attentive as my kids took turns to fuss and we had to take a few pit stops. It's a fresh experience being a tourist in my own country, and a wonderful time chatting with Angel too! I look forward to attend the other tours in the near future!

This a fantastic tour to get an overview of Singapore’s people, culture, geography and points of interest. We did this tour on our first day here and it gave us lots of ideas and pointers of places to explore for the remainder of our stay. Both guides, Jesslet, (sorry about spelling), and Melvin were extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions very well. The van was air conditioned, clean and comfortable with an unlimited supply of water. Highly recommend this tour.

Chinatown has also come a long way since the early days when Chinese immigrants made this enclave their home. Filled with sprawling myriad of shops and eateries, bustling with colourful and exciting activities set against a backdrop of rich history and heritage, Chinatown is not to be missed especially in the evenings when everything really comes alive. Wander along the narrow lanes of the night market and test your bargaining skills against street vendors selling anything from souvenirs to leather goods. Visit a Chinese calligrapher to witness a demonstration on the art of Chinese Calligraphy. A highlight of the evening is a trishaw ride that takes you through the alleyways of Chinatown and down to Clarke Quay. There hop onto a bumboat for a cruise along the Singapore River to see Singapore lit up at night, showcasing beautifully restored shophouses, modern skyscrapers of the financial district, colonial buildings and the iconic Merlion statue

Inclusions: Touring in a private air-conditioned vehicle, Services of a professional licensed English-speaking tour guide, Trishaw Ride, Bumboat Ride, Dinner at a local restaurant

Exclusions: Gratuities (optional) , Drink and snacks, Any purchases made of a personal nature

Our tour guide Simon was knowledgeable about the places we visited, route was well planned with most parts being on wider sidewalks. Bikes provided were also well maintained and comfortable, with helmets provided. Cycling provides a close up tour of the streets, with opportunities to take pictures at landmarks and vistas. Being a bike tour, would recommend being confident in riding a bicycle before attempting.
