Reviewed By MummaandCoFantastic place, friendly check in, good price, beautiful well equipped bathroom. Complimentary biscuits & bottles of water. The lazy boys were great!! The motel also has a gym. Walking distance to the shops & restaurants. We had two rooms - one was small (but perfectly adequate for two adults) & had an amazing view over the ocean. The other was a good size & had a double in the lounge & two singles in the bedroom. We would definitely stay here again.

Reviewed By ashleighwhateverFelt more like a hotel than a motel with a large room and modern decor. The queen suite was huge with a comfortable bed and large TV. The large shower was great and awesome water pressure. Management are very welcoming and helpful. Plenty of parking out the back of the motel which felt very secure. Would happily stay again and hope I do soon! The gorgeous Birman cat saying hi is an added bonus :)

Reviewed By Wanderer15536343539Cannot recommend this place more highly. The cleanliness was so noticeable as one walked into the unit. There was a problem with the wifi that the proprietress immediately dealt with. I also left my electric toothbrush behind by mistake, Jodie made sure it was sent back to me and although I asked twice for the cost of returning so that I might reimburse she just ignored me and returned it to me.

We have seven, two bedroom units which have a master bedroom with a super king sized bed, and a loft bedroom with two single beds. Good plain spacious unit
Reviewed By BronwynCarlisleI stayed here for a week with a couple of granddaughters. We had a two bedroom apartment, and it was ideal for our purpose. Full kitchen, living area, and the bedrooms were large with good size wardrobes. A family of four could quite comfortably live in the unit for a decent length of time. The only thing stopping me giving it 5 stars is that the bathroom is downstairs while the bedrooms are upstairs, not so handy for midnight loo visits. Handy to the railway station too.

Reviewed By CarolynWellingtonNZWorst stay of my life. For just under $200 a night there is no reception, no cleaner or cleaning materials, stairs that would not meet Health and Safety Conditions. The manager would promise towels which never turned up. How do we clean the toilet? clean up crumbs off the floor, no tea towels for our dishes. We stayed 5 nights and the manager was quick to swipe our credit card but we had to BEG him to come to reception to deal with waiting visitors.

Dust, ants, mould on the bathroom door which was not fit for purpose - it was more like a pantry cupboard door. Bathroom sink beside the bed. Tv wouldn’t work, microwave didn’t work either as the cables were broken and wiring exposed. Shower plug blocked so I was basically having a bath by the time I finished showering. Strange service - Very unhelpful when I asked to upgrade my room at my own expense (I was on a work trip). The other people on my business course were booked in for the $159 suites which, for the minimal price difference, was vastly better. It doesn’t make much sense to me how they can charge what they did for the shoebox I was in. Bushes were overgrown outside my window so I couldn’t open my small windows unless I wanted bugs for Africa in my room. I have never stayed in such a bad motel in New Zealand.

Disappointing and old and tired.
Reviewed By Kathryn VWe stayed in Unit 2 being a two-bedroom self-contained unit. It was very old and tired with numerous things either wrong, not provided, or not working. We wrote to the motel advising them of up to 15 things wrong with the accommodation with no reply. At $260 per night, it was too expensive for what was provided. Using Booking.com to reserve, the picture was not where we ended up staying. Very misleading. I have written to the Hospitality Association to find out how a make a complaint, but seem fairly certain this accommodation provider is not associated with any motel or hotel hospitality group.

Reviewed By jcpaletuvierThe outside is a crap. The Parking is very hard to manage, with nearly no room. The bedroom was clean with the minimum needed for a very short stay. The bedin is poor and not confortable. The kitchen amenities are just ok. Globally, if you need to stay 1 night, it is just ok, but the price is to high for the quality.
