Winters best downhill and summertimes best memories! Stay in our modern cabins in the western Värmland with the nature outside the door. Ski in - ski out wintertime from cabins. In summer you can go fishing, swimming, play golf, hiking and go shopping, its all within a walk or ten minutes by car. Welcome!

Reviewed By 344linerEg og ei venninne tok med barna våre og reiste til Valfjället. Husvognen var overraskande romsleg med sine tre soverom og to bad. Det føltes litt luksus å ha eit so stort kjøkken og det var godt med sitteplasser. Inne på det store soverommet var det akkurat plass til å sette opp ei reiseseng til baby. Det var reint og fint når vi kom. Eg synes uteområdet bar preg av at dette er ein vinterstad, og det kunne vært hyggelig for sommargjestane om det var laga til litt finare rundt vognene med for eksempel plen. Det var ein liten leikeplass på området der barna kosa seg og ein kunne bade ved eit vatn like ved. Vi kunne gå til den næraste staden, men valte å ta bilen og køyre til den som låg litt lengre vekke som var litt større.

Reviewed By 304henrikmThe hotel is nothing like it is described and not exactly in the city center. Quite a rude lady at the front desk, little or no experience in customer service. Spend a little more on other hotels in Karlstad to enjoy your stay. Stay away from Hotel Nova.

Excellent value for the price
Reviewed By SiscaOWhat a lovely little gem in the middle of no where! A square of houses around a huge lawn, your own kitchen and pathio. Yes, the interior (like the 70s kitchen shelves) are somewhat outdated but all clean and sharming. And unbeatable for the price! We staid in room nr.2 with a well sized livingroom/bedroom, kitchen hall and bathroom for 550sek per day. (The prices presented here is misleading, visit their website. Toilet and sink attached, another larger (and newly built) bathroom with 2 showers, hot tub, relax chairs and even sauna ! (Dont know if it is operating) next door. I think the larger rooms have showers attached. Never saw the house lady, but she was very helpful and friendly on phone. Not much to do in borgvik, which was perfect for the slow holiday mood we were after.

Reviewed By mikaelk876Vill du koppla av i härlig bed and breakfastmiljö då ska du åka hit. Villa Fryksta är namnet nu, läget, service och väldigt trevligt inredda rum. Frukosten var toppen. Vi kommer tillbaka. En promenad vid Nedre Fryken och i omgivningarna var otroligt vackert.

Reviewed By tedwalterExtremely charming place just off the highway. Stopped for a quick overnight stay and got the local music-quiz evening as well. Friendly and accommodating staff. Breakfast is upstairs in "station-building" and set in very charming environment. "Rooms" are NOT very spacious - and are exactly as in an old-fashioned sleepercabin. (It IS an actual sleeper cabin). So if you are looking for spacious and comfortable accommodations.... move on. We were looking for this charming and really authentic experience... and got exactly what we were looking for. Price - experience ratio is sort of spot on. Would recommend... but go for 1st class. :-)

Reviewed By SusanneFallqvistI gammelbyn kan man hyra kanot och paddla på Rattsjön. Vattnet är klart och fint och är en underbar lite gömd sjö i de vackra Värmlandsskogarna. Själva gammelbyn består av vackra små stugor som man kan hyra. Det finns bastu, en liten servering och mycket trevlig personal.

The place itself is perfectly located and has the right comfort level for this type of adventure. Combine this with the hosts Vanessa and Erik who are running this from their heart and you'll enjoy every moment!
