Reviewed By jo-schopsThe owner brought us to the monastery and provided a guide for us. The hotel itself is close to the station and the center of town. The rooms are clean and very spacious. The hotel provides WiFi bud sometimes it falls out.

A wonderful small hotel.
Reviewed By NickysjonesWe stayed two nights at the Ulan Hotel. The hotel is located in close proximity to public transport and the centre of town. Our hosts could not speak English but we got by with a smattering of French. They were very helpful in organising a transfer from the train station to the hotel at midnight. Our room was spacious and very clean. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. The room was cool this Summer; there was no A/C in our room but opening the windows allowed the cool summer breeze through. We were served a very nice continental breakfast each morning in our room. It was wonderful to start a day of exploring with some ham, fried egg, cucumber and tomato topped off with tea and a small cake. I would recommend a stay here :D

The exterior design and the interior of the hotel is made of natural wood, which gives you a full feeling of warmth and coziness of a country house. Polite and helpful staff. LCD-TV, wi fi- free in every room! We make your stay not only enjoyable but also productive!
Fantastic modern hotel with a lot of space and conveniences
Reviewed By Irina SBargudzin Tokum hotel in Ust-Barguzin was an incredible experience during our trip in Buryatia. It's a modern place with friendly and helpful staff, incredibly generous space, imposing furniture - but most importantly, it's super clean and boasts all necessary mod cons: wifi, aircon, tv, en suite showers. But what sets this place into the league of its own, is the fact all of the interior walls are made out of cedar wood - which helps you sleep like a baby, the neighbouring cafe with delicious Mongolian and Russian dishes, and an amazing sauna with "Russian banya" style wet steam pool and an indoor cooling swimming pool made out of a large boat - talk about a surprise!

Amazing hotel & great stay
Reviewed By Anil TNice hotel right at the entrance of the Great Baikal Trail. Clean rooms. Shower could be optimized, as the hot water sometimes goes out. The breakfast could be a bit better. 10 minutes walk from the city center.

Clean nice Hotel, centrally located
Reviewed By Bold-ErdeneOur group stayed in this Hotel one night. Reception girl was very friendly. And 1st floor they have Vietnamese Pho and Japanese restaurant. Also ATM is available in the 1st floor. Bus station and Stores next to this Hotel. They have some big rooms with 4-5 beds. It is good for budget tourists. But that big rooms not included breakfast. Still you could pay and get breakfast from the hotel. Breakfast serves 7.30 am - 9.30 am. In 4th floor the Restaurant located. I'll stay there again, if I go to Ulan-Ude again.

Reviewed By shungtravelОчень понравилось! Были в январе 2022г, чистота, уютно, большая территория, баня шикарная. Номера в эко-стиле. Деревянное все. Воздух отличный. Управляющие решали любые вопросы, очень доброжелательны. Будем рекомендовать.
