Much left to be desired
Reviewed By Drmike21I came with 9 adults and 4 kids and we had 3 rooms. Our opinions are all consistent. The site is colorful, the view and the ecological path they have is beautiful. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. The cleaning and bed service was great. The hotel is well located. It is about 30 minutes from Panaca, 20 minutes from el parque de cafe and 10-15 min from both Quimbaya and Montenegro. Breakfast was good but redundant. Fruits, natural juices, eggs to taste, arepa, bread (stale) and rice. It’s a secluded and relaxing area with a beautiful view. Staff was very nice and did all things possible to work with the limited resources they had. The pool area is nice. This place really has a lot of potential. That’s where the good things end. The web site depicts a luscious and well maintained area with a beautiful spa area. This place has been neglected. Horrible maintenance. None of the room phones work. Hundreds of bugs in bed and shower. Bath tub with black stains in all of our rooms. Our shower head was broken. Soap dispensers in shower full but not dispensing anything. Volleyball area with knee high weeds (cut the day before we left...great). Kids pool area dried and nonfunctional. Pool pump was “broken”. Beehive inside the kids play house/slide area. Kids trampoline was broken. The Jacuzzi by the cabanas was dried out and nonfunctional. Jacuzzi in main pool area was nonfunctional as heater was broken. Soap and toilet paper in public restroom near checkin was empty....for the entirety of our stay. The reception gave us the numbers for cabs but they could not make any calls for us as they Had no minutes to call cab. If we didn’t have our phone with local service we would have been screwed. Multiple fireplaces but none were ever lit. On Dec 31 No chicken or coke was available. WiFi is poor outside of the immediate checkin area. Cut glass pane in our bathroom with area exposed that could easily cut someone. There are 5 cabanas that are an ugly walk away from main “hotel/pool/restaurant area”. If you have young kids, a stroller or are elderly it is an uphill walk and not fun if you have to go back several times. The lighting is poor in that area so an evening walk may be difficult. There is a very nice nature walkway but areas to sit are full of knee high weeds and dirty. I understand this is nature but it would take no more than 5 minutes to clean and trim the weeds once a month. The only reason we didn’t leave after 1-2 days was how large our party was and the kids would’ve been a headache and finding another place at that time of year. We argued and finally received a discount. For the price we paid this was highway robbery. We called the owner and left a message but have not received a return call....it’s a month later. We also physically left multiple phone numbers to discuss and nothing. Unless this is changed there is no way I would ever go back. Beware and significantly temper expectations. Unfortunately, it is not allowing me to post pictures.

The best service in the Coffee Region in Colombia
Reviewed By Miguel MIf you are looking for an affordable (All in one) place to stay in the Coffee Region in Colombia this is a great option. It is located in the very heart of the region. Most of the parks are very near, only 10 to 15 minutes from it and the 360° view is awesome. Panaca, El Parque Nacional del Café (Must go), Parque los Arrieros and Recuca are very near. You'll have a personalized service and excellent breakfasts every morning. There's a nice swimming pool and a hot Jacuzzi that can be used during the night as well. The place is very comfortable and the people make you feel, literally, as in home. The only con is that you may need to have a pre-arrangement of car, as the road going to the hotel is about a mile from the main highway. Its worth for the price.

Traditional hospitality and food in abundance. You are looked after from the minute you arrive and your every need or whim will be catered for. Nothing is a problem. Here you can escape the constant daily invasion of your senses and experiece real nature. Thoroughly recommended without any reservation.

The Finca Hotel Casa Nostra is located in a very strategic point of the Eje cafetero since in our neighborhood we have many theme parks and activities that guests can do. Our rooms have a flat-screen TV. Some of them are equipped with a seating area, while others enjoy mountain, pool or garden views.

Reviewed By Connie_H321My family traveled from the USA to visit 4 places in the area: The famous hot springs in Santa Rosa DE Cabal, Panaca &The Coffee Park in Quimbaya, Salento& Valle del Cocora. We found Casa Nostra thanks to hotels.com and booking.com, but we decided to book directly with the hotel. The price was $ 73 a night with breakfast included for a room for 4. The room had 3 beds. The place was gorgeous, just like being in a high scale Finca, with beautiful grounds and without the fear of someone breaking in the middle of the night. The only negative is there is no front office personal. At our time the only people around was the girl that cooked our breakfast each morning and the lawn/maintaince guy. It had a nice little pool. Before I forget Casa Nostra is owned by 5 brothers, each one has a chalet villa inside the property. We stayed in the Villa called " Villa Sara" . Each Villa has several rooms, a common area with living room, breakfast area. Casa Nostra was just a 5 minute drive to Panaca the well known park that made Quimbaya famous for. If going to the park go real early so you can see all the shows and animals..You enter free on your birthday.

Beautiful Hacienda where thousands of birds serenade you while you have breakfast at the open air cozy dining room. Great rooms. Undivided attention. David was wonderful!, made us feel at home. One of the best dinner thatr I had in the area. Service is second to none
Reviewed By Oscar AAfter visiting the "Panaca" parque, we stopped at this Hotel/Restaurant to have dinner. Our Group of 8 people have a mixture of meats and Trout (In Colombia and around the area, Trout is the best that you can have), the meals serve where very large and the meat was cooked to perfection, beef seem to very tender in Colombia). We have no problems drinking our own Chilean Wine and we didn't even have to pay for corkerage. I think (don't quote me on this) we were served by their owner "Ramiro Galvis. Anyway, in short good food, huge plates and very cheap.

Tiene espacios abiertos al aire libre donde puedes sentarte a escuchar los pajaritos, ¡Eso me encantó! esta en una zona muy central para ir a visitar los lugares más representativos del Quindío: Filandia y su mirador, el Parque del Café, Quimbaya, panaca, el valle del Cocora, etc... Solo un punto que no me gustó mucho y es que el ruido de todas las habitaciones vecinas se escucha.

Reviewed By fabiant444Instalaciones adecuadas y excelente servicio al cliente. La única recomendación que hago es referente al parqueadero; no cuentan con uno propio o algún convenio. Debe buscarse por cuenta propia y puede no resultar tan cómodo porque no hay varias opciones realmente. Fue molesto la manera en que me respodieron cuando pregunté por este servicio: “ud verá si lo deja en la calle, o busca por su cuenta”, siempre hay que dar opciones al cliente.
