Koh Payam is a unique island in Thailand. There are no big shopping centers or cars on the island. Koh Phayam Thailand Like Koh Samui in the 70s But you will find is long beaches, natural jungles, smiling people, great food and a sense of community. Bamboo Bungalows offers an authentic Thai experience with comfort and warm hospitality.

Reviewed By Dom21076My wife and I spent two nights at the resort in a Junior Suite. The location is stunning - on the beautiful and clean beach of Ao Yai. It would be hard to find a better place for relaxing, swimming and enjoying sunsets. The staff - limited as tourists have not yet come back due to the pandemic – is super nice and helpful. Koko, the manager is doing a fabulous job at making her customers feel comfortable and well taken care of. The food is excellent and relatively inexpensive. Our bungalow (Junior Suite) was quite spacious and met our needs although it felt a little bit worn out, with an open air bathroom that easily fills with leaves… and a few (non aggressive) bugs. Hot water comes at an additional cost. Power is limited and does not allow for a fridge, hair drier, etc. Wi-Fi is only available in public areas. Overall, most of our time was spent outside, exploring this amazing island and enjoying the resort / the beach / the relaxing atmosphere. It will definitely be a choice when we come back to Ko Phayam later in the year.

JJ Beach Resort is located right on Aow Yai beach, also well known as Long Beach. Our beach restaurant is very popular with regulary guests and we like to offer you our delicious local food and daily fresh seafood as well. Also we do offer some international dishes on our menu and BBQ as well. More over this we like to offer you some of our yummy cocktails, espacially to enjoy the sunset or to end up your lovely day and dinner. All our bungalows do have WLAN and attached bathroom with western toilet and shower, a big comfy double bed and a huge veranda to enjoy your privacy and time away from the beach as well. The beach itself is more than 3 km long and is perfect for walking and sunbathing or playing frisbee or other beach games. We are very looking forward to welcoming you soon at JJ Beach Resort.
Basic accommodation cheap price
Reviewed By AnnaShallJJ is sited in Long Beach almost seaview. The bugalow are very basic but due Covid we only payed 200 baht per night. Normally I prefer better accommodation but we had not money so this was the cheapest place.

Reviewed By RGmufcWe fell in love with this place after many many trips to koh phayam with friends, this place was our little escape as its the most stylish friendliest place on the island or at least for us it was. Great foods drinks and accommodation you simply wouldn't think is available on a paradise island, well it is and this place was amazing. I proposed to my now wife of 3 years on the island and we just knew we wanted pur wedding day party here, to cut a long story short patrizia agreed to be our host and it was the most perfect wedding party with some 30 + guests all organised by the cede resort with 3 course dinner that was amazing. People on koh phayam are very very friendly but patrizia and her family went the extra mile. We are forever grateful to an amazing host xxx

Quiet Garden bungalow 1km from the pier
Reviewed By andrewaW3870MVNice simple comfortable bungalow covered in tree area so cooler. Large simple bathroom with high roof. Restaurant on site for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not always available if host busy, but usually is. Many delicious meals available at reasonable prices, beer. Nice hosts, will help you with any questions. Motorscooters for hire. 150-200b per day(24 hrs) If you can ride a motor scooter the rides around the island are wonderful as re the forests. Highly recommended to stay at this bungalow, was very happy with it. About 200 meters walk on same road towards the pier there is a massage shop, fai massage. There is a picture of a crocodile card out the front. Massages are done outside behind a curtain. The woman working there are on the large size. Do not visit for a massage there unless you want a very painful massage. Avoid this massage shop unless you want pain and possible injury. It was very painful for me and I'm a 6ft solid built man. Probably worst massage I've had in thailand, and I've had about 100 over the years.Think lady making massage painful on purpose.

Our resort is called 'Friends' because we like to see our guests not just as customer but like friends who stay with us to have a good time. 'Friends Bungalow' is located on the north half of Aow Yai beach at Koh Phayam, a beautiful island in the Andaman Sea southwest of Ranong in Thailand. The nature and the wildlife are amazing, white beaches with clear water and only a few tourists. There are no cars on the island. Aow Yai (big bay) is on the west side of the island, the north half of the 3,5 km wide bay is the quieter part of the beach. We have 4 sea view bungalows, 2 garden bungalows and 6 furnished tents on elevated wooden platforms, each with private bathroom and a roof made from nature materials that protects the tent from sunshine and rain. All the windows have mosquito nets that allow the sea breeze to come in without having the room full of uninvited animals. Our mattresses are clean and from good quality. Our restaurant has a beautiful sea view and you can choose to sit under palm trees in the sand, on our wooden platform with Thai pillows and Japanese tables or in our open restaurant underneath a palm leaf roof. We serve delicious Thai food as well as Burmese food, steak, pizza, pasta and other western dishes. We use solar energy and offer 24 hours electricity in our restaurant.

Reviewed By Cyril NI enjoyed my visit and food in this resort. The room was very basic but fine and looks out on the beach. The food was good but on the costly side as was the drink but hey you pay for being on the beach as in other business on the beach. Thanks for the memories .

Restaurant staff very uninterested
Reviewed By BenzeddieStaff was sleeping and not happy when woken up. Don't expect a smile here. Food took long to prepare. I wanted spicey, didn't get it. My friends wanted not a runny egg, got a runny egg. Wanted to split the bill, they really gave us the eye... Next time let them sleep!
