Had been here for few times while staying in Koh Phayam and it was a wonderful experience trying various dishes.
We especially enjoyed breakfast with their tosted home made bread and wholegrain rice - never saw such things in many places we have been in Thailand. Also their Deserts are very delicious - must try.

we stayed 2 weeks on koh phayam and we went serveral times to kruq khun kao. everything what we choosed for starter and maindish was deliciuos and authentic thai food...very fresh and perfect prepared.
we tried also different cocktails...everone was mixed or shaked like it has to be.
they have also desserts in their offer...we tried once...both desserts were very tasty
the staff is high attendent and very friendly. everybody does his best to fullfill the wishes of the guests so fast as possible.
the prices are normal and fair.
the restaurant offers also cooking classes in the afternoon.
we can recomment kruq khun kao very much. it was the best food we had on the island.

We heard great things about this adorable Indian restaurant on our way back from sunset one night. It’s located on the hill down to the beach, and it’s kind of out by itself on the road. They have tables and little booths were you can sit on cushions on the floor while you dine, it’s very romantic and quaint! The service is great, all of the staff are very friendly and attentive and it was quite busy when we were in for dinner around 8 pm. We ordered two curry dishes, garlic naan and the roti style bread and it was all delicious! We didn’t leave a bite! Great prices for Indian food too! Beautiful place, we would definitely go back if we had more time !

Finally we found this place and it was worth of renting a scooter and come from aow yai to buffalo bay. Beach is beautiful and peaceful. Today the had a recommended menu and I took a vietnamese spring rolls and they were truly amazing! 120B is reasonable price. Staff is very nice also!!

Forget-Me-Not Restaurant (since 2008), an Authentic Thai Cuisine. We served all time favorite and local Thai food, Western breakfast and some sandwiches, Tea, Coffee, Fresh seafood from local fisherman only and must order in advance.

A wonderful place to go! Had a beautiful walk through the jungle seeing hornbills and cashew nut trees to get there, which was so worth the little effort. The food was incredible and Dew is such a wonderful person, so friendly and warm-hearted! The view over the island is absolutely amazing! If you want to eat perfect Thai food in an amazing setting, this is the place to go! I can highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!

Restaurant is situated next pier village. You can sit at the beach or in the restaurant and watch people do their daily activities. They bake fresh bread and have proper espresso machine. Try spicy papaya salad with coconut shake! ?

We have been here for coffee several times and the coffee is great, the owners are lovely and really know their stuff about coffee. They also have colouring books and games. I went there too often...and thanks to the super fantastic wonderful concert with Job2do I will keep many great memories in my mind, for the rest of my life. Best party spot on the island...or just to hang out. Very green atmosphere...

The Pallet was the highlight of our food experience on our whole journey through Thailand! We visited this place at least one time a day during our stay. The couple who is running this restaurant is totally friendly and funny. They made us feel really comfortable. Not to forget are their great cooking skills. We totally fell in love with their excellent currys. It doesn´t matter whether green or red it is the best we`ve ever had :D. Even when I wasn´t able to come to the restaurant due to an injury my boyfriend brought me their curry to our bungalow. And I dare to say that I was soon better of because of their delicious food. Simply for the palett Koh phayam is a place worth visiting. Take a bit of time and enjoy a taste sensation in a relaxing atmosphere. Best wishes Hannah and Benedikt from Germany
