We booked a tuk tuk tour for our first full day in Lisbon as we wanted to get a sense of where everything was and where to go back to. Our driver gave us some options about where we could go in the 3 hours and found out about what we were interested in, so the tour was a combination of the main highlights and some diversions to see some of the amazing street art that Lisbon has to offer. We got a sense of the character of the place by the time we finished and learned a huge amount in a very short time. We even learned first hand which is the best Ginjinha (Ginja D'Obidos) as we popped into a bar in the Alfama area to sample some in the traditional chocolate cups... and we had time for a coffee and Pastéis de Nata at one of the amazing view points over the city. If you are going to Lisbon, book this tour, you won't be disappointed!

Did you know Lisbon is one of the capitals of street art? The walls of Marvila are an open-air gallery where you can see the work of international graffiti artists celebrating Ibero-American culture. 15 huge pieces of art on buildings situated on the top of a hill, the Tejo in the distance… simply amazing. Even more amazing is to stroll through a neighbourhood that, at every new corner, uncovers a layer of the history of Lisbon: 17th and 18th-century convents and palaces, art deco industrial warehouses and buildings, vilas of factory workers and urban vegetable gardens. All of this at a 20-min drive from the centre, in the eastern part of Lisbon.

Inclusions: Private transportation

Exclusions: Lunch, Entries in monuments are not included in the price and are subject to the visitng hours.

This is one of the most gratifying places to visit in Lisbon! You will visit a neighbourhood which today is a great place to be... but, it wasn't always like that... listen to the struggle of real human beings and how they overcome that by getting united and making this place into a home for all of us who visit them and contribute to their success!! The theme here is "bring the world to the neighbourhood" and "the neighbourhood to the world"!! Helps us achieve that - You are all so welcomed here!

Exclusions: Lunch can be booked, if previously requested!

Sofia was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable about information as well as unwritten histories of the locations we saw, such as the Moorish Castle. Had a wonderful lunch by the seaside and even some time to walk on the beach, even though it was middle of Winter! (I love dunking my feet in the ocean!) Had some time in the little town itself, quaint and cute little shops and cafes. Many thanks Sofia!

Évora is located in the Center of Alentejo, from its original name Ébora, was a city defended by a strong castle and surrounded by solid walls when the army of King D. Afonso Henriques commanded by Geraldo “No Fear” conquered the Moors in 1165. Our visit begins towards Évora, passing by the 25 de Abril bridge. Arriving in Évora, visit Giraldo Square, the Castle and the majestic Temple of Diana. We suggest a lunch stop at a typical restaurant and then visit the Bones Chapel, the Cathedral and the San Francisco Church.

Very nice tour I strongly recommend. We were 4 and took a car with a private driver that was really nice, kind, professional and patient. He drove us everywhere and explained all we saw without being nervous or impatient. Finally he added also a city tour that we really enjoyed. Price was very reasonable for a whole day out. Do it, it is really worthwhile. Angelita

This photo tour was designed by a professional photographer that has a deep knowledge about Lisbon. It also happens that Miguel was born in Lisbon, lives in Lisbon and likes Lisbon a lot. You can expect a full and very rewarding experience. We will explore the areas as old time friends, looking for good and sometimes unexpected moments. We will chat about the local culture, about the local history and about photography. We will discuss f-stops, between a view description or looking at a map. We may actually improve your image composition as well. It is a very complete and flexible experience with the huge advantage of being private. Being on the streets, makes it also very safe. This also allows Miguel to follow your preferred subjects or to optimise the use of your photo equipment. Actually, this photo tour should be for everybody, because everybody has a camera! Think about it. It doesn't matter if you have a DSLR or a mobile phone, because the fun will be the same.

Inclusions: LISBON PHOTO provides deep info about photography, including tech settings and image composition., LISBON PHOTO adds information about the local history and culture., LISBON PHOTO may provide a spontaneous contact with locals.

Exclusions: You should have your own photography equipment.

Miguel is not only a great guy but an accomplished photographer and did everything to help me ( a professional photographer) shortcut to the absolute best and most picturesque places I needed to be. My needs as a professional were a little more specific than most I think, and Miguel was able to adapt the tour to exactly what I was looking for. He was tireless and completely bilingual and able to turn on a dime when my needs changed. Plus he knew all the best cafes and restaurants of the locals so we avoided the tourist traps. It was an honor to work with him and I look forward to seeing him on my next trip to Lisbon, which I hope will be soon!
