A resort with potential to be better
Reviewed By Morten HThis resort is situated in a silent area of Zatoka three minutes walking distance from the beach. The resort consist of three hotel blocs and many small wooden cottages in a park. The area are protected of own securities that control the entrances to the resort. You will find a small swimming pool, restaurant and bar at the resort area. There should also be some possible for SPA treatment but this was closed down for the moment and the staff could not tell when or if it would open again. My hotel room was situated on first floor and it was a strong smell of molds. I also find lot of bedbugs and other insects in the bed. I complained about this and got another room in same floor. This room was slightly better, but had still a smell of molds. The rooms itself was very basic with television, bathroom, air-condition and a fridge. The madras seems very old and was not comfortable. I visited some hotel rooms higher up in the same block and they seems to be better and where also equipped with a private balcony. The breakfast was served as buffet and had a both hot and cold dishes. It was also possible to order half- or full board and got all meals served at the restaurant. The staff at the hotel speak not English and are not very service minded. Upon check out of the hotel they send some staff to check the room; count glasses, towels and remote control - in a typical Soviet style conjures. The complex have potential to be good, but they need to renovate the buildings and improve the service. It could also be good if the staff could speak English and the menus at the restaurant could be translated into English.

Reviewed By _B5511MVПриехали с дочкой на неделю, но так здесь понравилось, что остались на месяц)) Уютная база отыха, большая зеленая территория (закрытая, с магнитными ключами), собственный просторный чистый пляж, много развлечений для деток: батут, баланс-борды, детские площадки, качели, гамаки, есть волейбольная площадка на пляже, много крытых беседок и столиков со скамейками на улице, где можно отдохнуть или покушать в тенечке, зона для мангала. По вечерам на пляже гостей баловали наивкуснейшими бургерами собственного приготовления, пальчики оближешь! Есть свое кафе на территории базы и кафе у моря, недалеко отличная пиццерия, маркеты с фруктами и овощами, супермаркет в шаговой доступности, большая бесплатная парковка для авто, да всего и не перечислить. В августе ночью наблюдали волшебный звездопад на морем, потрясающее зрелище. Большое спасибо гостеприимным хозяевам, нам все очень понравилось. Обязательно приедем еще!!

New hotel, nice stay
Reviewed By silviaboicoWe stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in June 2018. The rooms was clean, very good ones, beautiful colours and nice terrace. We had discounts for hotel restaurant, free acces to aquapark. The food was ok, but i think not excellent. Some of dishes were not good for us :) the location is not central, but you can reach it by car, near 10 minutes. Overall, it was nice vacation, thanks.

Reviewed By 675donaldbWe were searching for a decent place on the Soviet/post-Soviet zone around Odessa during a weekend getaway. We stumbled across Kauri using trip advisor and were intrigued by its high ratings. Definitely in comparison to its neighbors this hotel is heads above the competition in terms of service. The rooms are smallish but offer value for the money and are clean. The food at the restaurant was like the rest of Zatoka categorically bad. In short it is a good bet if you are staying in the area and offers value for the money.
