At The Preston B&B, we offer spacious single, double and family rooms located in the main building on the second floor and also in our chalet-motel style rooms at the rear of the hotel car-park. A full English breakfast is included in the room price.
Booked the Preston Hotel for the venue of my girlfriends 30th Birthday Party. Meg, the owner was very nice and accommodating and offered a very good package for the occasion. We chose to do our own food, which Meg kindly allowed us to do but said that if we needed extra, they could cook it for us. The space itself was lovely, with the bar and seating area being off to one side and the dance floor & food area on the other side of the open space. Luckily the weather was gorgeous so Meg opened up the doors and windows for people to use the outside decking and seating area too. Had lots of family and friends staying in the hotel itself, which Meg offered a special discount for due to the party. She allowed me to go in ahead of the party and use their entertainment system to set up a music playlist and put up decorations. The bar staff were very friendly and kept everyone topped up with lots of different drinks. Thank you Meg for a lovely evening. Hopeful to visit again soon.

Booked this lovely boutique hotel as part of our tour of national Trust locations. Really pleased with the package. So close to town centre , a Green King pub/restaurant just around the corner and seconds away from the link roads. Rooms were big and clean and super breakfast buffet with freshly cooked eggs to start our day was welcome. No hesitation in recommending this little gem !!!!

Stayed here in May 2022. Lovely area in this small village. Rooms were clean and tidy. Had breakfast which was good value. If you need a decent hotel this will do, BUT taxis are very hard to book, and it is a couple of miles outside Yeovil.

A contemporary boutique hotel in a traditional hamstone building. Beautiful grounds with friendly goats on their own island. Modern Brasserie restaurant. A Somerset cider list complements a well chosen wine list. Spa & gym. Perfect location for the Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm Museum as well as stopovers to and from Devon & Cornwall.
The hotel is over way over priced. We didn’t get any sleep due to a wedding which carried on until 4am, people screaming, and staff unable to manage the situation. beds are hard, staff not helpful…, will not be returning

A popular Yeovil Hotel Bar & Restaurant. Located on the main A30 midway between London & Cornwall. The beautiful Ham Stone building was built in the 1850's & is now owned by husband & wife, Jon & Sarah. The Hotel rooms have just undergone a £200,000 refurbishment scheme, which has definitely put the small family run hotel on the map. All 8 of the beautiful guestrooms are slightly individual with King, Twin or Superking sized beds, 32" Panasonic Smart televisions, ensuite bathrooms, & perfectly designed quaint features. To compliment the stunning rooms, the well established bar & restaurant offers a relaxed setting to enjoy a perfectly kept pint, wonderful glass of wine & traditionally cooked local food. The ever popular Sunday Carvery is a highlight. Served from 12pm until around 6/7pm, Three Somerset Meats are offered alongside our infamous Homemade Yorkshire Puddings which would put Aunt Bessie to shame!, Beautifully roasted Maris Piper potatoes, Honey parsnips, & large selection of locally supplied vegetables including cauliflower cheese plus, gluten free gravy.
From start to finish our stay was fabulous despite the reason for our visit ( we were attending my Uncle’s funeral ), we were made to feel welcomed and came away wanting to return again in the future. The service was exemplary and rarely have we encountered such attentive caring staff. Our room was clean, comfortable and just the ticket…the breakfasts were one of the best we have encountered and such great choice. We had an evening meal with family and the standard was very high, the beef curry was as good as our own homemade! We cannot recommend this independent hotel enough. We will definitely be staying again when visiting family. Many thanks for your hospitality..

Liongate House is a sympathetically rebuilt barn situated in the historic Roman town of Ilchester. Completed in 2006 using the original bricks and roof tiles, the integrity of the outer building remains whilst the inside is designed in a more modern contemporary style. Energy efficient underfloor heating together with a heat recovery ventilation system and effective rainwater recycling serving all toilets, make Liongate House an eco-friendly property to stay in. Our hearty breakfast includes local free-range eggs, some organic produce, a choice of teas or Fairtrade coffee, homemade marmalade and jams made with fruit from our garden. We are committed to providing a 4 star quality service whilst minimising the environmental impact of our activities.

Half way between London and Cornwall, Premier Inn Hotel Yeovil is the ideal place to break the journey westwards, with some stunning tourist attractions just minutes away. We're ideal for business travellers too, with Westlands, Screwfix and Honeywell just up the road. Why do things by halves, when you can enjoy the South West to the full? Marvel at the elegant Montacute House, or the technology on display at the Fleet Air Arm museum. Or stroll the stunning Jurassic coastline, and catch some retail therapy at Houndstone Retail Park. Then it's back to the hotel for a meal at our Table Table restaurant and a lovely comfy bed.
I stayed at this premier inn when I was down visiting friends and the service was outstanding! The staff were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble at all and everything was done with a smile! Gemma and Georgia on the desk were so chatty and made my check in feel warm and welcoming, will definitely be visiting again!
