"Les Tilleuls" a B&B with character offering 5 bedrooms. You will find peace and comfort, a subtle blend of history and modernity situated close to the center of Vielsalm. The house, nicely restored in 2014 and tastefully furnished, offers a large living room with fireplace, a spacious dining-room open onto a large south facing terrace, a sauna, a garden, private parking and a Wi-Fi connection.
Once you have the chance to stay in a near to perfect place, the real differences often come with the details. First of all, each of the 5 rooms has its own atmosphere and charm. We stayed in the Katana on the 2d floor. As soon as you enter the room, relatively small but very well appointed, you see the name has nothing to do with the samuraï but with african large wooden masks. And you'll find two of them on the wall. It's the only room with an african theme but it makes sense as Marie and Pierre spend years in Africa, from Pemba off the coast of Tanzania to a farm in South Africa. The room and bathroom are more than just cosy and comfortable but what makes the difference (once again) is the use of light and the "sound system" in the ceiling, what a nice way indeed to listen to a favourite online radio station like Radio Paradise by just plugging your phone or iPad. The breakfast (with eggs on demand with a crispy bacon if you wish) is served on a long wooden table and there again, details are making the difference. The (mostly local) cheeses are coming from the bio shop of the Ferme Lamberty in Petit-Thier and the "charcuterie" (or delicatessen) are from the local market. On top of it, a Nespresso machine is offering a excellent coffee. At night, in autumn or winter, you can chill by the open fire with a local beer (the Vieille Salm) after a stop at the little sauna on the first floor. Excellent !

I would have given 5 stars due to the experience for kids, however we were not able to use the barbeque as there were some construction works at our chimney and barbeque. We also requested a baby bed, but this came without a mattress. I did bring my own sheets, but mattress no. All the rest were perfectly fine, as you have everything you need in the cottage, and also a supermarket. The activities are quite pleasant for children up to 12-13 years old. We enjoyed our stay!

We stayed here during our trip to Netherlands. It absolutely deserves driving further than all other hotels are located. Amazing host. Cute dogs. Clean room. Beautiful design and decoration. I believe it would be amazing to stay here for summer vacation with a room or in the camp side. They have a restaurant and a cafe. (Good prices)

Set in the heart of the Ardennes, close to East Belgium and the Hautes-Fagnes, the Hotel Myrtilles offers comfort and tranquillity in a charming, family-run setting. Completely refurbished, the Hotel Myrtilles boasts 19 tastefully decorated rooms***, its own restaurant and bar, a pleasant garden and free use of facilities such as WiFi, gym and sauna.
We were looking for somewhere last minute as the weather was shocking and riding on motorbikes in the dark wasn't much fun! We effortlessly booked a room and parked up securely before finding that for some reason the lift wasn't working! Our room was modern and spacious with a comfy bed. We decided to eat at the restaurant that night because of the weather and weren't disappointed. We had a long wait to be served as there was only two staff working but the food was worth the wait. The food was lovely but someone needs to have a word with the guy on reception who also worked in the restaurant about personal hygiene. It spoilt the evening!

Absolutely a fantastic find in the heart of the Ardennes. Peggy and Pascal are the perfect hosts and provide a warm and comfortable B&B. We had a group of 4 who visited many of the World War II Battle of the Bulge sites. The location is perfect for what we wanted to do. Peggy is a great cook and we enjoyed 3 home cooked meals including wild boar. One of my all time favorite B&Bs in Europe.

Stayed here for two nights including one 5 course dinner. Yes it's a bit pricey but the dinner was very high level and worth it. Breakfast is a la carte (wonderful) and the owners do everything to please the guests. We were recommended by friends to come here for a relaxing weekend and it definitely met our expectations!

We stayed in a studio for three nights to go to the Grand Prix. The price was ridiculous but hotels rooms were in demand so they ramped up the price. I could have forgiven them that if the accommodation hadn't been so grim. It was clean and the beds comfortable, but it was damp and musty, dark and cold. The fridge didn't work (although management insisted it did but it wasn't very pleasant anyway!), and we didn't have cable TV. Not sure why we had a microwave as there was no plates or cutlery, so it was of no use. No waste bin, no tissues, no bottled water. Hard towels. Minimal toiletries. Just the two coathangers. Room very basic. You get the idea. See the photos. At breakfast the bowls and spoons had run out. We had to ask for some. Then we realised that the cereal and orange juice had also run out. A toaster, but no bread. No one came to check to see if everything was OK or to refill dishes. Very little service at all. Just get it yourself. I would not recommend it.

Heel mooie B&B met een hele lieve gastvrouw. Vroeger was her huis een schuur maar de gastvrouw heeft het omgetoverd tot een mooie, romantische woning. Interieur is schitterend en met stijl uitgezocht. Kamer was schitterend.
