Excellent location - when you are there it seems like middle of nowhere - so wild, peaceful and charming, where you can enjoy long walks in the middle of the night, and you hear only the nature sounds and if you look to the sky - you can see the moon and the stars so clear, because the weather is perfect - no rain! From the other side - villa is close to sea, where you can have many water activities, close to many beautiful cities - Lecce, Otranto, Gallipoli. Very, very close to villa are many charming small cities, you should see them. The sea cost is so amazing - you can have there the white sand beaches and rocky beaches as well. Very, very beautiful nature around. Excellent service - the owner of the villa - Nino - is brilliant - so kind and welcoming, felt like at home there, got so special attitude. Everybody I met these days were so friendly and open persons. Really enjoyed time there. Big thanks to mother of Nino - she showed how to make Italian pasta – very exciting experience. The rooms were clean, towels change when you need. The best part - dinner. You should try the food they prepare there - excellent - very delicious. I was waiting for the dinner all day long - because of atmosphere, excellent food and vine. Many thanks to Nino, his family and friends. I had a wonderful time! Baiba from Latvia

Golf course more than testing - 6100 meters par 71. Excellent service all round from hotel staff through to restaurant and golf shop. Top value best had staying midweek.

Reviewed By raf89There's not much you can do in acquarica, which is a small village south of Lecce. Yet as a location it can be ideal, because you are just a short drive from lecce (20 minutes from the city center) and an even shorter one from the beach (you need to have a car. if not, I would recommend to look somewhere else). Antica corte is a quality B&B: the rooms are large and spotlessly clean,free wifi is available and you can enjoy a hearty continental breakfast (the homemade cakes are delicious, there's also a - limited - choice of yoghurt and a selection of fruit juice). What I liked most is the beautiful courtyard and the large garden hidden behind the main gate: sitting under its trees is an ideal way to relax after a day at the seaside.

Location perfetta per vai sitate le spiagge del Salento, location ottima per godere di tranquillità e per lasciare che i bambini giocare nel meraviglioso prato allestito. Colazione abbondante e com prodotti locali, Giulia gentilissima ed adorabile, la sua gentilezza fa la differenza. Torneremo

Reviewed By evasoutoulWe stayed in Masseria Copertini for a night, the place and location is truly amazing! The room is spacious and the bathroom is very nice. Paola welcomed us and it was a pleasure to stay at her Masseria! The highlight of our stay is the breakfast, everything was homemade and very authentic and is served outside right outside your room. The coffee was definitely the best I had in Puglia. I recommend this place to anyone traveling to Lecce!

A somewhat unique place
Reviewed By peacock_10We spent almost three weeks in three different "masserie" in Salento: They all turned out to be great places. La Luna dei Messapi is more like a mansion in the middle of a large property (approx. ten acres). The historic masseria was renovated by the owner for his own family and has only recently become B&B. Great flowers, great breakfast, good location (not far from Lecce, Otranto and a wonderful stretch of the coast). Difficult to beat in two respects: Total tranquillity (zero traffic noise) and quality to price ratio.
