It's a good but quiet central location and within easy walking distance from/to the bus terminal and the town centre. My room (417) was comfortable, spacious and light with windows on two sides. A reasonable buffet breakfast was included and the hotel had good WiFi throughout.

Nice place but you must have car or boat to go to Valdivia
Reviewed By 956bengtlThe place is quite nice with big comfortable rooms. It is very tranquil as it is on the "wrong" side of the river. Valdivia Town is on the opposite side. The hotel has a restaurant but it did not make me "happy". Service is good but the food is ordinary or even below ordinary.

Nice Hotel In Need of Repairs
Reviewed By 50Continental_DriftWe stayed for three nights at the hotel on our trip south. Our room was very good but, in general, the hotel is in need of repairs. Also, while we were staying there, there were not many other guests. The front desk staff were very helpful and provided good recommendations for dinner and a boat cruise. The breakfast was very good with a large assortment of foods. We didn't use the pool but we did see others using it. The grounds are nice and it is definitely worth a walk out to the dock. The location is a little way from the restaurants but we walked to restaurants in about 10 minutes.

Reviewed By BrianL496This small hotel provides comfort in a convenient location. Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and modern. It has a minimalist style, but enough bench space to be functional. Rooms 2, 3, 6 and 7 are slightly larger than the other 4 rooms. The wifi is good and it represents good value. The hotel is kept locked and you have to call for someone to let you in or out. Someone was always available.

Neat spot, central Valdivia
Reviewed By good_antsWe chose 'Airesbuenos' for a variety of reasons including: - sustainable ethos, which they live up to fully; quiet admirable in fact! - reviews! Countless glowing reviews - affordable (better than being in a standard hotel/hostel room, for many reasons) As it turns out, the hostel has a funky, unique vibe but is still warm and welcoming. Staff does everything they can to make you happy & comfortable. Breakfast was 'nice'. In aiming to be perfectly clear - which I try to do on TA - I'd give it a 3.7. All good reasons mentioned above but: - no parking (which would be nearly impossible to do, and they send you about five blocks away to an appropriate/affordable spot) - our room was cramped (sure, that's part of the 'mystique'/style of the place, but it was actually difficult for both of us to move in the room at the same time and one of us had to 'hug the wall' to sleep! This was in a private double) Worth a stay if you're not too picky about these things.

Reviewed By JorgeSilva84This hotel has exactly what one needs on a holiday: location and quiet. It's close to sights, to traditional coffee places (such as entrelagos), the river and its mercado fluvial, big supermarket for supplies, and absolute silence at night for a perfect quality sleep.

Nice, quaint, and clean place to stay
Reviewed By Borinquen61Our room was small but all we needed since we were usually only there to sleep. It faced a street that was pretty busy during the day, but quieted down at night. We had a view of the river which was nice. Along the river we found food trucks and craft vendors. All very enjoyable. The breakfast buffet included bread, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, cheese and a small variety of meats, as well as coffee, tea, and juice. The staff at the hostel was extremely helpful and very friendly. Would definitely recommend this place. (We did have to go upstairs to our rooms. Not sure if they have ground floor rooms.)

Reviewed By Pame OWe stayed one night at this place and everything was perfect. Nice and comfy bed, heating, good size room and bathroom, perfect shower temperature. The staff was friendly and helpful and breakfast was good. The parking situation is a bit difficult around and the hotel doesn’t have many spots, I guess you need to be lucky in high season. It’s also possible to park in the small street were the hotel is located.

Reviewed By Jeremy PThis is a small hotel, with plenty of (perfectly pleasant) staff, not a Hostal where you get to meet the owner and no-one else. We were more than happy with that, as everything was professional, nest and efficient. The breakfast was fine, the area was quiet, and there were eating places very close if you didn't want to walk the 10 minutes into the centre of town. It is also very handy for the bus station - from where, incidentally you can get a bus that drops you a short walk to the airport.
