Reviewed By Edgar SThe entire stay is a great experience. Friendly, professional and wholesome staff, so accommodating and generous to let one feel at home. The room is big, fitted with wonderful German wooden furnishing, large window overlooking the Mosel river and a sizeable bathroom. Good bed. Very clean. The hotel offers a nice indoor pool and sauna. Plenty of towels available. The restaurant present home-cooked regional dishes, well prepared, delicious and offers a good selection of Mosel wines. Love the breakfast buffet, small but plentiful. For the price they charge, one gets a lot in return. On the downside, the offered free WiFi is only working in the restaurant but not in the rooms. The owner is recommended to update the system and have a good signal all over the hotel. Plentiful of free car park space around the hotel.

Reviewed By DenisB1734This hotel is one of the best value and cleanest hotels we have stayed in. The rooms are spacious and well designed and also very modern with great views over the Mosel river and free parking in front. The breakfast is also very nice with home made fruit salad. Just be careful if you go out for a walk, make sure you take the key as the doors are locked very early well before 5pm and you just cannot get in by knocking or ringing the bell! Luckily my wife was inside and I could call out to her to come down and let me in!

They have a sweet little deck where you can enjoy a glass of wine and look out over the street. The rooms were comfortable and they had a fan which was fantastic in the summer heat and also great for ensuring that our laundry dried before the next day!

Reviewed By N4442FBmariaThis hotel is not a four or five star but I give it a five star for the excellent and friendly service we received. We were on a excursion for a weekend. Everything included. The breakfast was continental, they supplied bags to pack a lunch. Also non alcoholic beverages to take along on trips. Dinner was included and absolutely five star quality. Alcoholic beverages included from 4 pm. The view from the veranda is very beautiful. Overlooking the river Moesel. Some of us said we could spend the whole day there. But we were on day trips in the area which were also beautiful. The hotel is owned by Dutch people who speak perfect English and other languages as well, My room was at the front of the hotel, the window gave a beautiful view of the river. It was a single's room, not big but good. Also had a bathroom with shower. A few complaints about the rooms at the back about the train which passes directly behind the hotel. I don't think it was too bad for noise at night especially if you keep the window closed. The free wifi works in the lobby. I would recommend this hotel if you don't expect Hilton or Holiday Inn. I certainly hope to return someday.

Just for digestive
Reviewed By Hannu KWe visited this place twice during our stay in Treis-Karden only for a shot. We only used this bar for digestives when coming "home" from restaurant. First night I asked the guy if he had something "strong, small and local". He did not hesitate a moment to say "Oh of course, my wife!". He spoke fluent english and was very friendly.

Reviewed By simon kthe first impression upon arrival at the guest house is poor .there is no reception area and its hard where to c/I. turns out the keys are given out at the restaurant by the waitress . there is no service per say so one needs to carry one bags alone up very steep steps for an older travel this could be a challenge. once in the room there is no phone in the room so if there is a question one must go down to the restaurant and ask the waitress there is no a/c in room ,no fan, no English stations on tv on electrical outlets in room only in bathroom breakfast very limited choices the only up side to the stay the guest house has a good restaurant Wi-Fi very weak log on printed on restaurant menu

Reviewed By 596paulvIs okay for a short visit. Beds are reasonable. Breakfast with reasonable selection and quality is ok. Point of remark is that despite booking sites mention acceptance of credit or bank card, as foreigner you need to pay cash. Only German EC card accepted. Parking at the back site, own property, but careful leaving the street with sharp angle to water side.

Good base for Mosel/Rhineland
Reviewed By Hootowl24Have stayed at this property several times. Good, basic accommodations. Nice small town on the Mosel. Stay here if you like waking up to the smell of baking bread. There is a good bakery downstairs. No breakfast is included but the bakery serves a nice one for a reasonable price. Other towns are an easy drive. The Burg Eltz, Cochem, Koblenz, Beilstein, St.Goat, Bacharach and taking a Rhine cruise are easy to do from here. No busy tourist stuff here. Just a nice little town on the Mosel River.
