Reviewed By stuffmattersThis was my third stay at Villa Ma,Rasai and the second in quick succession since the opening of the new wing. The extension further improves what was already a unique offering particularly when compared to the rather characterless business hotel alternatives. Although Villa Ma Rasai is out of town this is by no means a constraint as Hasrun, the owner is more than happy to efficiently organise airport transfers, tours or other transport as required. Indeed the day tour to Tidore he organised is highly recommended. One key advantage of the location is the spectacular views with my room providing a fantastic view from its balcony over the coast and volcanoes. A hard to beat location to enjoy a cold beer. Villa Ma Rasai has its own restaurant which although it has a limited menu does offer a few tasty options.

Reviewed By Gottfried ZAt the end of 3 months travelling in Indonesia this hotel had everything to relax and enjoy. Very spacious well furnished room with balcony facing the volcano of opposite island of Tidore, nice bathroom. I mentioned to the manager I was astonished not to have found cloves in the markets, most wanted good of these "Spice Islands", which paid for the beautiful houses in Amsterdam. To find out which spice I meant he came back from the kitchen with a small plate with a selection of spices. A lady of the staff later brought me not only the desired cloves but also the very attractive fruits of her nutmeg tree. And they smiled and were happy to help me. Perfect stay with personal touch!

Reviewed By nisafadilaaI had problem while check in because my booking in trav*loka didn't connect to the hotel's database (they didn't update the room availability to trav*loka). I wait for 4 hours at night because of it. Thankfully trav*loka and the staff were helpful. The staff even offered me higher type of room. There was a strange smell in bathroom. Room was so-so. Breakfast was great but low variability.

There are 4 rooms available to rent: 2 Rooms with AC & Shower (Superior Room) 1 Room with Fan & attached Private Bathroom (Economic 2 in 1 Room) 1 Room with Fan & external Private Bathroom (Budget Double Room) Guests will have access to living room, dining room, kitchen & huge rooftop on the second floor as well as free use of the fridge & the washing machine. Bike & Car rental is available upon request. Information on tourist destination, diving, bird watching and mountain climbing activities will be provided on guest arrival. Kurnia Homestay is located 10 minutes from the city center and less than 20 minutes from Babullah Airport of Ternate. The Direction to Kurnia Homestay can easily be found online. Had the loudest midnight and bad breakfast
Reviewed By AliBaba0810Had deluxe room: standard, but clean enough. There are no sockets next to the head of the bed (this is annoying). AC is good. Bathroom: shower quite good. There is hot and cold water. Breakfast food: standard chicken porridge (incidentally salty and lots of MSG), white bread with jam and butter, rice with flour fried chicken. Not comfort: Tuesday and Wednesday night at 22 to 24 past, below there is a noisy sound of live music that is quite disturbing to the room. Front office and staff: very friendly. Parking can be for 4-6 cars. The location of the hotel is also quite good. The management MUST DO something to make better about the live music, the breakfast and power socket. This is not terrible hotel but if you have a choice better look somewhere else

Nice, Spacious Room, Comfort
Reviewed By Louise WI Only stay for 2 nights, really enjoy my stay, The room space is big, The interior standard, classic, i like the wooden chair, so ergonomis, i wish i could buy things like that in my hometown (jakarta/manado). The bathroom need to be upgraded, & they should brush it hard on the floor. The Breakfast simple, but enough & good taste. Unfortunately i missed the order on Tiket.Com i should only pay for one night, instead of 2 night (they have promo one nght free stay, but instead of reduce the cost, they add yous stay) that is almost impossible for me, since the Extra day was monday. -- I know it's complain for Tiket.Com. But the Hotel Management too didn't help a lot of this issue. After all i enjoy the stay, & would come back to this hotel when i visit Ternate again someday.
