Reviewed By BrookeMoralesBeautiful traditional Austrian restaurant and hotel. Friendly staff, medium price point for Austria. Nicely decorated, clean. The evening menu has a good selection. Try the beef tarta, fish starter, the Kasnudeln, Schnitzel, Ice cream selection, Schokokuchen and Topfenstrudel. Very good.

Reviewed By Sunshine01319726869Max and Renata could not have been better hosts. We did a last minute change to come here due to travel restrictions. They even involved us in Kandolf family Christmas celebrations!!! Great rooms and the bar is great fun. Coffee and home made biscuits amazing!

Reviewed By Ralf_Fabrywir waren zu zweit zum Abendessen nach einer langen Radanreise da. Als Vorspeise hatten wir die Steinpilze, ein saisonales Angebot. Portionsgrõße üppig, schmack- und nahrhaft. Das Cordon bleu war nicht mehr üppig, sondern mehr, das Knappenpfandl alles andere als knapp. Insofern für Biker mit wohlverdientem Hunger empfehlenswert. Service sehr aufmerksam, Küche recht flott.

Good value B and B a short walk from town main square.
Reviewed By tulip873The pension is about 5 min walk from the centre. My room was spacious with a double aspect balcony and refurbished bathroom with walk in shower. Unusually breakfast is not served on site (or it certainly wasn't when I stayed), but at the Hotel Gambswirt, which is a lovely hotel just off the main square, again a 5 min walk away. I think both are owned by the same family. Breakfast was great. Only reason not 5 stars is that the WiFi in room was very weak. In order to get a signal I had to go downstairs to the reception.

Reviewed By MaWoGeiAuf dem etwas außerhalb gelegenen Planitzerhof kann man sich sehr gut erholen. Die sehr herzliche Hofwirtin Christine ist immer um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht und versüßt einem den Aufenthalt mit vielen kleinen, nicht selbstverständlichen Aufmerksamkeiten. Der Hof eignet sich neben Entspannung wunderbar für Wanderungen und Ausflüge. Die Zimmer sind sauber und liebevoll gestaltet. Das Frühstück ist gut und angereichert mit Überraschungen aus dem hauseigenen Kräutergarten.

Reviewed By jojo741Sehr freundliche Familie. Der Hof mit Pferden, Hund und Katzen ist bei unseren Kindern sehr gut angekommen. Unsere Tochter durfte auch mal reiten bzw. mit der Pferdekutsche fahren. Faire Preise. Kommen gerne wieder.

Title: Great Bio Farm stay in picturesque setting, Very quiet, very nice Apartments

From the Farm it is another 6 km into the mountains before the road ends (from here you can walk in real nature, waterfalls and rivers). The Hansalgut Farmhouse is a very modern family run business, Hias and his wife do all the magic to make your stay pleasant and relaxing. The Apartments are spacious (up to 70 m2 for the family apt.) and newly renovated in the old farm house while some more apartments are located in the new farm house. The installations can easily compared to a 3 + star hotel or in other countries it would be 4 *. All Aptm. have a spacious kitchen and living room with separate bedroom and modern bathrooms incl towel dryers. the views of all apartments are towards pure nature and a river can be heard, about 300 m away. The scenery comes with unsurpassable views from the balcony or terrace. This is one of the viewer Farm stays with breakfast being served - eggs to your liking, variety of ham and cheese, nutella and homemade jam, honey, a variety of cereals and great coffee or variety of tea plus a juice and last but not least a homemade cake. Biggest Plus: Large Relaxing Area with different sauna, heated beds and infrared cabin Great place for kid´s as they can participate in the feeding of cows or play with the rabbits and chicken as well as 1 young deer. kid´s will also love the freedom to run and play without having to look at them, the large hay barn should be visited with the parents - kid´s will find a couple of cats there to play with. Location is simply phantastic and prices are more than reasonable for what you get - full relaxation for parents and kid´s. Nearby you´ll find attractions such as the HUT VILLAGE in expansive alpine pasture surrounded by the Radstätter Tauern Mountains, several adventure parks/outdoorparcs Theme Trials (great for kids) Folk Heritage Museum in Tamsweg, beautiful Castle in Mauterndorf, Mariapfarrer got a steam train and Silver mine to visit This Bio Farm Apartments are a must if you are looking for comfort, relaxation and fresh air in a beautiful picturesque setting.

Reviewed By JayVieKrásná horská farma, možná by se hodilo sem dát zmínku o tom, že v zimě se hodí mít řetězy, pokud nemáte 4x4. A pokud napadne sníh a budete mít řetězy, 4x4 a pořádnou dávku štěstí, tak sem možná vyjedete...Až tak hrozné to není, ale jsem rád, že po dobu mého pobytu nesněžilo...kdyby ano, nebyl bych si jistý jestli by to moje ,,čtyřkolka´´ vyjela. Jinak pokoje/ apartmány hezké, nové a čisté s wifi + budete mít večer skvěly výhled do údolí, pokud nebude sněžit a vy se budete bát celou noc jak se dostanete do Tamswegu...

A gem in the countryside
Reviewed By asenarbWe were two couples staying in an apartment with two rooms, and what an apartment it is! The rooms are huge, could easily fit 3-4 people each. The kitchen was big, with tv, radio and all the utensils and appliances.Separated wc and bathroom, all together very convenient also for bigger groups. It was probably our best value-for-money stay in Austria. Would definitely recommend! The only drawback may be the distance from the urban center (~10 mins by car to Tamsweg). However, this means that you experience the quietest nights with best skies. :) Views are great in the morning as well!
