Beautiful family always smiling. best bathrooms we stayed in , out of town but still really close say 8 min walk. nice meal with the family and lovely views from the verandahs, its also brand new and very clean , thanks for our stay everyone

Reviewed By amyloonieMy boyfriend and I had the most wonderful stay at Hung Phat bungalow! Our host Mr Son was the best host we've had in the whole of Vietnam. We arrived after a 6 hour motorbike ride, absolutely soaked from the rain and he greeted us with a hot tea and came out with a hair dryer! He carried our bags to our gorgeous little room on stilts which over looks the rice paddy fields. The room was very clean and super cosy and even better still, the bed and pillows were extremely comfy! The shower was powerful (unlike most showers in Vietnam!) and went lovely and hot, too. He organised us the most amazing tour to Phong Nha Cave (which is an absolute must by the way!) and gave us some of his homemade rice wine to take with us. Mr Son made us a delicous breakfast every morning at the time we wanted it and was just so attentive from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The location of the bungalow is incredibly peaceful but only a short 4 min moped ride into the town. Thank for for making our time in Phong Nha one to remember, we will be back again one day! :)

We have just opened for 5 month, and 3 newly completed double rooms. All brand new facilities and friendly staff will satisfy you and your family. One plus for our place is that we are on the riverside.
A bit disappointed
Reviewed By RG02We booked to stay two nights at Coco Riverside although we were leaving at 23.00 on the second evening to catch the overnight train. We expected to pay for both nights but no allowance was made for the breakfast not taken. You are only allowed one included cup of coffee at breakfast, a second one is charged! The outside area overlooks the river and the outstanding scenery but there are no comfortable seats to relax in. The rooms are quite basic, not as good as most we have experienced on our time in Vietnam. It’s cheap and cheerful but I think there are better places to stay here.

Reviewed By 373callumcCan't complain at my stay here in Phong Nha. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helped us book our transport to our next destination. The hostel also offers free bike rental which is great especially in Phong Nha where a bike ride is a days entertainment in itself!

Reviewed By shastaFirst off, the people are extremely kind and helpful. There is no elevator, they advertise having a bathtub. There is no bathtub. Hallways are extremely dark, had to use my flashlight to get my key in the slot. The bathroom is of the kind where the whole floor gets wet when you take a shower. I was happy that I'd only booked one night. The manager gave me a Banh My for breakfast which I thought was very kind. On the plus side, the TV has Netflix. It was clean and inexpensive.

Reviewed By JodiemoeThis was such a nice place to stay slightly off the main road but well within walking distance and free rental bikes. They helped us with our 3am arrival and we were able to sleep in our room when we came in after they picked us up. Friendly, super clean and comfortable rooms, sauna things, and good breakfast. Highly recommend stay.

From the start Anna and her posse made us feel hella welcome by hooking us up last minute when our other homestay bugged out due to corona fears, she also arranged transport for us from the airport at a reduced rate, ballin. When we arrived she greeted us with a smile that could have stopped world war dos and offered us refreshments before checking us into our room. From the moment we passed through the courtyard to our room we knew we were at home...immaculately clean but still had some character. Room was big enough to fit westerners and all of our crap, and when the aircon was turned on it felt like Antarctica (which is how I like to sleep). Before we headed out on our caving adventure anna’s sidekick whipped us up a bomb complimentary bfast (I had the banana pancakes and I wanted to slap my mom based on how good they were). Finally, because we cray and love to leave at the crack ass of dawn, Anna made sure we left with clean laundry and once again booked transport for us at 4am. As I’m writing, I can’t help but think how great my shirt smells even though I’m sweating my ass of in this heat in southern Vietnam. If we are ever in phong nha again we will be sure to stay at Vu once more.

She invite us to swim with her in the river, she was practicing her english with us, we play sone games and we share an amazing dinner. Beautiful family makes us feel like home. About instalations, amazing shared bathroom and really nice bed in front of the river!!
