Comfortable hotel, good for a one night stay when travelling
Reviewed By sosofarThis hotel is close to the motorway to Salzbug. We stayed here for one night when en route to Austria. The reception was pleasant and our room was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is small. The hotel also has a good restaurant with an outside terrace. The breakfast is simple but adequate. Unfortunately, the room gets light very early in the summer since the curtains do not sufficiently darken the room. Shutters could solve this problem.

Lovely one night family stay
Reviewed By Petra RI stayed at this hotel in August 2018 with a group of friends, 6 of us adults and 3 children (1, 5 and 10 y/o). From the beginning we loved the hotel. It was easy to find, located up the hill from the main road, on a hill surrounded by the woods. It has a lovely view of the Chiemsee. Most of the guests were family, and older couples and singles. Right next to the hotel is a open air church, a nunnery and a wonderful old (I think 17th century) catholic church dedicated to the Virgin Mary. The staff is really nice, polite, they somewhat speak English and we somewhat spoke German so we got along. The breakfast is wonderful, delicious, the room overlooking the lake. It has a lot of catholic iconography on the walls and in the halls of the hotel. Would definitely recommend to families, older couples and religious trips.

Our hotel, situated beside a bathing lake, enjoys a rural setting close to Siegsdorf, Inzell, Ruhpolding and Traunstein. Only 6 km from motorway A8. In our restaurant we serve casual food and Bavarian specialities. The hotel’s warm hospitality and inviting accommodation guarantee a relaxing break from your travels. All our rooms are equipped with shower/WC, free wifi and TV - mostly with balcony or terrace.

Reviewed By Mary WCame here on family vacation. We came very late in the day (7:30). They staff were very accommodating and set us up with a beautiful clean room. The friendly staff helped us with the menu which was delicious, would love to come back!!

Reviewed By JimmythefoodieIt was a very sunny day so we had the benefit of sitting outside in the popular and quaint courtyard. We had a really good value Bavarian meal. Beautiful smoked trout and tasty Schweinebraten with dumplings. Good beer, good service, what's not to like! Most enjoyable

Beautiful place... wonderful host
Reviewed By saif2707This is a beautiful place, located in a quiet little village. Excellent for those who want to escape from the busy life style of the cities and enjoy nature. We stayed in a beautiful room on the second floor, the room was spacious, well equipped, with a large bathroom. Very nice breakfast buffet, plenty of choices. Klaus and his family who are running the place were wonderful hosts. Highly recommended.

Sauna, Swimming pool, Cinema, Game-rooms, all in a well rebuild old farm in wonderful Bayern. Nearby lot's of langlauf loipes, the Inzell skate arena. Nice skiing area Winklemoos/Steinplatte just 30 minutes away.

Modern and surrounded by the nature
Reviewed By Jens XWe have booked this pension for the 4th years straight and we are euphoric to visit this place every year. The cottage has modern rooms with modern furniture. The kitchen has very modern hardware and most utensils can be found for your every day cooking. The view is just breathtaking, with a great view onto the village below but also the panoramic view onto the mountains close by. The WIFI is not free but the internet speeds are great for such a rural location

Old somewhat outdated park, great value for money for skiers

The park is a little outdated but the houses are warm and comfortable and are outstanding value for money for people who are looking for simple decent budget accommodation (self catering) that can take larger family groups. The money we saved on the accommodation went to great local food & drink from the supermarkets & restos and ski gear (& lift passes) for our sons Kitchens in the houses are small and cramped - but are equipped with decent, robust pots & pans for cooking meals. The resto on site in the park is OK with a basic menu. Staff are friendly & helpful. Closest main ski area is Steinplatte/Winkelmoosalm about 20-25 min drive away - with smaller ski areas in and around Ruhpolding village
