August 20, 2022 Darleen Reid

This coastal city is one of the oldest in Morocco and naturally has a rich history. It is a big fishing port and a beautiful coastline near the less industrialized areas. The fishing port is definitely something to take a look at. Many vendors at the markets sell cool pottery, so have a look there.

Our stay was fantastic. We have lived in Morocco for 10 years and have stayed at a number of riads. This riad is beautifully decorated and very authentic. Even with the traditional decor the amenities are modern and our stay was memorable. The staff is attentive to your needs and the food was delicious. I know we will be back. Hopefully next time with our grown children. I know you won’t be disappointed with your stay.

Very dated hotel in Safi

Best hotel in town ! Difficult to find a decent hotel in Safi but this one has modern facilites- bathroom especially. Many others just trade on their former glory and are going down hill with no capital investment. So a comfortable and relaxed stay with great shower and great towels !!!! An oasis in a desert of very average hotels ! Excellent by local standards.

Reviewed By voltaia56

Cuscini troppo alti e duri, come spesso in Marocco.

Ok so you are in Morocco near the sea. We arrive late in the night so this was the first hotel that we saw and we were to tired to find another one. So what can I say! The hotel is big - and it needs renovation every where! We had a quite night of sleep but also we where exhausted! Breakfast was terrible... only coffee - bad one, tea - terrible, some bread and some jam.. In Morocco you have a great breakfast everywhere! It was an experience, but not to repeat!

Okay but needs updating

Reviewed By sarahkrafferty

We stayed here for two nights on our road trip up the coast back to Casablanca. The rooms are basic and provided just what we needed. It should be noted they can be a bit cold in February. The hotel is visibly in need of some TLC, but we were not seeking luxury accommodations. The view from the hotel is quite lovely and I’m sure the pool is nice for lounging during warmer months. The breakfast was simple and fine. The most wonderful part of this hotel is the woman who works the morning to afternoon shifts at the front desk/reception - Aibtisama I think was her name. She was so warm and friendly to us, and very helpful with any questions we had during our time in Safi. She is a gem! Thank you!
