Beach a Massive Disappointment
Reviewed By GordonW1111We booked 3 Deluxe Hillside Units on the basis of excellent reviews. BUT the Ao Prao beach is nothing like the reviews. It is covered every day in plastic and rubbish washed up from the sea. It is a serious problem. The resort itself is good, the pools are excellent and the choice of restaurants good. Food generally excellent. Staff service average overall, except for Buzz and O Restaurants where it was excellent But no swimming, lying on the beach, water sports or snorkelling. And very unpleasant to look at. I suspect a number of reviews are not legit.

Excellent location but probably would not stay for to long without hiring motorbikes to get around and explore. Personally staying in one resort for to long I find gets a bit repetitive but as we had motorbikes it made it the ideal location for us.

The room was super cool with comfy bed and, believe it or not, individually packed toiletries! The price to quality ratio was unbeatable and I must say that even though you would need a car to get around from the location of this hotel, the choice that was made to book this establishment was completely correct!

Great location but bit run down and overpriced
Reviewed By Peter GIf I wouldn't have paid more than 3k baht I would probably give four stars. If you pay that price then I expect much more. The renovated rooms are ok however dead insects on the bedsheet and on the floor. Seems they don't have a housekeeping supervisor that checks the rooms regularly after cleaning. Not enough sunbeds at the pool and the ones provided are old and partly broken. The big plus of this hotel is the location with great views. And the pool is quite big. Breakfast is average. I'd say the hotel would be worth the money for max 2k baht per night.

However, they were all high service mind and very happy to welcome guests. They were so energetic to learn that the hotel would almost be full house the following long holidays. Front Office team, especially the FO manager, were all supportive and helpful. Thumbs up for the hotel team!!! Thank you for such a good time?? We were impressed by their energy, renovated property and hotel overall atmosphere. Food are also good!! We had good dinner there. I congratulate the hotel management to have staff with loyalty to hotel and trying to deliver their best even though there seemed to be very low in man power. Some of staff members are quite high in age but they were energetic and expressed high service mind as well as loyalty towards the hotel. Very hard to find! You must be a great employer? Lastly, one can always enjoy a good hotel and great service provider. Am I right? Highly recommended!!

Reviewed By zzvinaihad dinner with family at CazaV1 restaurant, the restaurant is nice, very clean, the service was excellence and the menu are extensive, so many to choose Thai, Chinese, Italian we ordered steam Indian salmon with soy sauce, stir-fried Chinese kale with crispy pork, shrimps salad, Northern Thai sausage and RunJaun Curry the RunJuan curry is not the usual curry you can find in the Thai restaurant, it very tasty and different, quite strong shrimp paste taste, so beware all the other foods were very good excellence meal

Rude receptionist, weak air conditioner
Reviewed By forrestg824The receptionist took my 500 baht as a deposit, then she staged a very heated argument with me for not giving a receipt for deposit. A Thai speaking local got involved, trying to explain her that all I need is a proof of my deposit. Finally, I had to call the hotel owner who solved the problem, all of this happening at 9 pm after a 7 hr bus trip. Then the archaic air conditioner took almost 3-4 hours to cool down the room. Resort is 8 km from the Bowin Robinson, I don't recommend motorcyle, road is horrible, you need a taxi. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Clean, Poor Location, Expensive & Beware of Fire Alams

The room was clean, the staff courteous, the hotel bar & restaurants were very expensive for the area, the location was poor, parkng a nghtmare, and the swimmng pool was exceptionally small with a distinct smell from factories in the area. On one of my nights, the fire alarm in my room went off and woke me up, the front desk indicated they would send a technician and when none had arrived after 10 minutes, the front desk indicates all clear without inspecting the room or offering an apology. Very disappointing. This happened again but this time in another room.
