Reviewed By Monica SFrom the moment I first spoke to Sonia, there was no reason to look elsewhere to stay during our family trip to el eje cafetero. She immediately gave me the confidence that we'd be taken care of no matter what. My husband, two adolescent children, and I stayed in two bedrooms, side by side, with a bathroom. The rooms were so spacious and clean! The towels were changed out daily, and the staff made sure to thoroughly clean the rooms every single day. In the morning, we were greeted with a spread of amazingly delicious food, including butter, cheese and jams made by Sonia herself! If eggs is what you like for breakfast, you can have them made any way you want. Want bacon too? Make your request. There is never a request too big for Sonia. One night, Sonia and Hector prepared an asado with ingredients all grown by the family themselves, and this was probably the best meal we had while in "el eje cafetero". Sonia made things easy...from renting a car to booking tours to making dinner reservations to being transported to nearby towns to helping me find medication I needed. She even bought me a cake and decorated with balloons and a festive sign for my birthday! There was never anything Sonia could not do, and no detail ever escaped her. She, her family (Hector and Jhaysson), and her staff (Nancy and Huber) were exceptional hosts our entire stay. We especially miss our evening talks in the living room by the fire, the dogs, the cow, the pigs, the roosters and hens, the birds, the breath of fresh and cool mountain air, and of course, Sonia!! We leave knowing we've left a piece of our hearts at La Adelita and will be back because we gained a home away from home!

Reviewed By mjette03301We stayed here while touring Salento, Filandia and Cocora. We also traveled to San Vincente for the termales (hot springs). The hotel was a great place to stay in the middle of our itinerary. The hotel is clean and located near many restaurants. The rooms were spacious and the lobby was quite nice. Our family rented 3 rooms. Two doubles and a pair of queens. Very nice.

The guys took care of everything, Made sure we feel confortable and eben brought us to the airport when we almost Missed the flight ! Thanks again guys for waiting for the Rain to go away & still making sure we catch the flight!! Soo recomendable 10/10??

The town was beautiful, the food was great, but the accommodations really made it all worthwhile. It was clean, the staff was super helpful and nice, thank you for the balcony overlooking the mountains was breathtaking. The hammocks, the yoga mats, everything really was amazing. The breakfast for great. I would stay here again you have to go

Far away from the buzzing city life
Reviewed By Lina Marcela HIf you want a quiet place, enjoy the sunshine and sunsets, this is the perfect place to be. Staff are friendly and the place is quiet. I got here at night and it was hard for me to get to my room with the beautiful moon making contrast with the alluring trees around. It is fantastic!

Reviewed By Karo OIt was a great experience! We decided to walk from Salento center to the Finca, it’s a nice long walk, maybe wouldn’t recommend if it’s raining. We decided to take a shorter tour and we’re guided by lovely Andres! We’ve learnt a lot of interesting facts about coffee production and tried an amazing coffee on place! :) beautiful views, great quality. I would recommend it to everyone.

Reviewed By briandI3159OUStayed here with my family because of the close location to the Parque del Cafe. Definitely a great experience. The location is large and beautiful, the staff was friendly, and the facilities were very enjoyable. The pool location has two jacuzzis and a bar from which to relax after spending a day at Parque del Cafe (15 minutes by foot) or Panaca (30 minutes by taxi). We couldn't find ubers to call in the area, but the front desk was helpful in assisting us with this. The room was very comfortable, with a tv, wifi, jacuzzi, a cute balcony facing banana trees, and nice beds. Spa services are available if requested. The area has trampolines and playground equipment for children, and friendly dogs that wander around. There is a restaurant on site, and a few in the area as well that you can order delivery from. My family enjoyed the breakfasts, but we weren't as fond of the dinners, so we went with the delivery route. If you order a vegetarian meal, make sure to emphasize it is vegetarian, because my vegetarian pasta ended up having chicken in it. There is a laundry service available, but they only wash pants and shirts. Finally, a special shout out to Marcela, who made our stay extra special. She is a sweetheart that went above and beyond with trying to help us.

No better place in Salento
Reviewed By gamintravelerThere is no better place in Salento than Casa La Eliana. Jesus, Alejandra and the little Lian will make you feel so comfortable. Rooms are clean, so affordable and very near from bus station. If you like Indian food don't miss their curry dinners so delicious!!!
