Reviewed By David BExcellent room, service and meals. Much of the food comes from their own property. Couldn't ask for better hospitality. Would go back in a heartbeat. Our rooms on the top (2nd) floor were spacious with lots of storage. Since we had one room and our friends had the other, we had the 2nd floor patio to ourselves. The patio was a lovely place for evening drinks and snacks with a great view toward Naples. They offer off-street parking, but it can be a bit of a challenge if you're driving a large SUV as we were (Volvo XC90).

A perfect base for a business visit

The owner, Antonio, was quick to respond to queries and was always helpful. The bed was comfy, the view fantastic and the shower very good quality. If I return to the area I will most likely visit again.

Reviewed By Anna ZWe arrived at Klein Wien late on our first night and were welcomed by a ready lay out meal. The dorm was very nice (room 6), but my top bunk was very creaky and loud. It was always clean when we got back. The view from the balcony is amazing. One of the light switches was behind the wardrobe and a bit hard to reach, and one night I plugged my phone in to one of the plugs, checked it was charging, but to my dismay when I got up I discovered it was on 0%. The service at dinner was good, and they always catered for our dietary needs. Overall a good stay.

Located in Piano di Sorrento, Villa Iolanda is located in an autonomous residence exclusively used for the clients of the establishment. The villa is surrounded by a flower garden and is a small garden groomed daily. It is located near the sea, in the center city and is 100 meters from the local train station which makes it easy to reach Sorrento, Pompeii and Naples, where you can find public transport even also to Capri and Amalfi. The room has air- conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite and cable channels, free Wi-Fi and a private bathroom with a shower and courtesy set. Staff will be happy to assist you during your stay, providing general and useful information, and also an help to book excursions to surrounding areas.

Reviewed By Joseph5starMy wife and I just spent a wonderful weekend at Villa Iolanda . Salvatore and his mom Teresa are great hosts . The rooms are clean and spacious with everything you could need. Momma makes the breakfast every morning and let me tell you that it is fantastic , especially her cakes and pastries. Great value for the money. I think we have found our go to place whenever we visit the Amalfi coast. Thank you again to Salvatore and Momma for a great stay. Hope to see you again soon.

Reviewed By kimbartakQuite a basic hotel however as we didn’t spend much time in it given that we were out all day it was fine. Rooms were small but had everything we needed. Bed weren’t the most comfortable. The views from the balconies are the best part though. Stunning.

Some furniture is slightly outdated but the beds are comfy. Staff are amazing especially Danielle and Giuseppe would definitely come back

Reviewed By Jana LCaluga House is located in a quiet part of Piano di Sorrento, perfect to get away from the busy towns and touristy spots along the Amalfi Coast. We stayed here for one night after touring the Amalfi Coast and enjoyed the peaceful and quiet building and beautiful garden. Alessandra, the host, is absolutely lovely and amazing and could not make one feel more welcome. Having this very personal touch and service is very rare and special!

Reviewed By BillyNottinghamJust returned from a fabulous week's stay at this brill place. It's immaculately clean and everything has been finished to a very high standard. Gaetano, our host, was extremely helpful arranging our taxi transfers and being very patient during our delayed arrival late at night. It's been a real pleasure! The property, although off the beaten track a little, was only about a 10-15 minute down hill walk to the train station where you can easily get on the train to sorrento (4 minutes, 2 stops) for a couple of euros and you can also go to Vesuvius in the opposite direction although we did not do this ourselves so can't give more details. The small marina was only another few minutes walk down and there is a lift for 50 cents which will take you up/down the cliff instead of walking. There are 2 shops with a couple of minutes walk that sell fresh produce and water/beer without having to walk up the hill from the supermarket. We stayed in the apartment with the terrace which was a good size and also had a large electric canopy to use if the sun got too much. Overall I think this is a great find and as long as you're not scared to use your legs a bit (so long as you're able) this is an idyllic spot, very peaceful charming property with a perfect host! Thank you Gaetano and your cleaning team.

Disappointing stay
Reviewed By FotogoUnfortunately this accommodation has seen better days. The cabin we stayed in was very old and run down. The doors were damaged and the bathroom doors didn't lock and one didn't close. The beds were uncomfortable and some sockets looked dangerous. There was a fridge and no TV. The whole area needs a good clean-up. There were lots of old pieces of furniture and metal thrown down the side of the cabins. The pool was great and the bar was welcoming and lively with board games to play in the evening. The family that run it are welcoming but need to spend some money and time on updating the accommodation. There are some good restaurants in the area which is less touristy than Sorrento.
