Wow what a great experience a hidden gem down a cobblestone road near the Hotel Angelina. We so loved this place it became our main dinner spot for most days. They had the best service also making your experience special. Serving lemoncello at the end of every meal on the house. Seafood was the best and choices were great. My husband had steak and he love it. The price was very reasonable for the quality of fresh food and you can sit and enjoy your meal both inside and outside. Wow I love this restaurant to best in Sant' Angelo...

From the moment we walked into this restaurant till the moment we left, it was sheer delight and a feeling of total pleasure. The position of the restaurant is amazing, the service is fantastic the food is superb. Is there anything else to say?
Having eaten in many good & outstanding (and the occasional disappointing and terrible) it is not so easy to find a new place which leaves you speechless. This was one of these evenings.

Excellent rustic Italian food lots of Italian families. Great value for area. Nice Terrace at the front away from too much traffic. Very good portions. Staff very pleasant. Had excellent wood fired half roast chicken superb stuffed peppers and lovely tomato salad. Meal for 3 with carafe of house wine and coffee for 35 euro very good value

What a lovely treat to eat at this wonderful restaurant -this really was a fabulous experience.
The chef is undoubtedly a star for the future - we knew we were in for a great treat when the charismatic and smiley chef came to our table to discuss the menu and her love for what she cooked shone through and was reflected in a great meal.
The meal started with fresh home made breads , followed by wonderful plate of complimentary anti pasta, all delicious. To start I ate a pasta with mussels and tomatoes infused with lemon, I can't remember anything more delicious . For my main course a wonderful steak cooked to perfection with delicate apricot and prune sauces gently placed around the plate.
Then a little lemon complimentary desert arrived with fluffy sponge and lemon cream - followed by a dessert designed and brought to life in the sketched menu, it had the appearance of fried eggs , but in fact a cream sauce with 2 apricot jellies in the middle with a lovely lavender crumble on the side.
This was heaven but if that wasn't enough the chef insisted we try her mini rum baba.
Give this restaurant a chance as you will have the most wonderful evening eating great food.

Our Air B&B host told us this was his favorite restaurant, and it became ours while staying in Meta. Our server, Mario, was spendid, and the son of the owner. We enjoyed the sunset at this very popular restaurant while dining on fresh-caught fish, hand crafted wine (they serve half carafe as well as bottles) and crusty fresh bread. I loved the fresh calimari and baked local fish and Italian pasta. Only a few diners at 7:30 pm when it opened, as that is very early for Italians. While listening to the tide roll in on the beach close to our candlelit table, the cliffs of Meta towering above us, we enjoyed our romantic meal while Mario (who speaks excellent English, ask for him) told us about the early fishing industry of the Sorrento Bay before us, and felt the magic of Sorrento's nighttime lights in the distance. We dined at Laconca a second time, and will miss this special place, and hold it in our hearts.

Owner picked us up at our hotel since the hotel restaurant was closed. We ate on the patio overlooking Sorrento. We had zucchini flowers for the appy. the were battered in a tempura like batter with a little mozzarella inside. Fabulous! Sausage and mushroom risotto followed, which was also great. if you are looking for the real Italian experience I highly recommend the restaurant.

Service was good from the owner who spoke very good english. We had three courses every evening for four nights and everything was of an amazing standard. I can simply not fault the food which was also reasonably priced. Everything from steaks, pasta, pizzas to desserts were all delicious.

Booked a table for 10 for our final evening and it did not disappoint. Charming and friendly service despite being demanding customers!
Antipasti and pizzas were superb but the tagliata with tomatoes, parmesan and rocket was very fresh. Wine was very reasonable.
I would recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for good, tasty, reliable home-style Italian cooking.
