PATTAWIA RESORT & SPA Located on Nareasuan Beach, Pranburi, Prachuabkirikan. A new destination beyond Hua-Hin legendary, on the Gulf of Thailand, suited in a splendid beach, beautiful scenery and only a few minutes from Hua Hin, Cha-Am, 250 km. Less than 3 hours from Bangkok and 15 minutes drive from Hua-HinPattawia Resort & Spa - a unique blend of contemporary styled in the manner of Thai culture and tradition, elegant decoration by using of wood, multitiered roof, to create a calm atmosphere. Accommodations: 168 deluxe including 2 honeymoon villas, 8 executive suites, 6 family suites and 152 deluxe rooms with a beautiful sea view overlooking the Gulf of Thailand. Provided with individually controlled shower and bathroom, individual air-conditioning, IDD telephone, 29 inch color TV, fully stocked mini bar and refrigerator, personal safe box, save energy, private balcony, coffee making facilities. Pool bar beside our magnificent swimming pool, overlooking the sea, an ideal place for light meals, snacks and a wide range of beverages.
First the good - the enormous room overlooking the sea was bright and comfortable. In fairness the hotel has been hard hit by the lock down rules but the few staff made every effort to put things right when the was a shortfall. Breakfast ok, but basic. When I found out that the fried eggs were cold the cook immediately came up with freshly made fried eggs. The investment needed to bring this 2/3 star hotel up to scratch will be enormous but this type of hotel is probably beyond its sell-by date. One surprise were the splendid bas-reliefs on the walls of the conference room, just visble from the dining room.

could be too late to visit now.. the place is old.. some wall murals are obviously dirty. there's no crowd on weekday. so v had plenty of time to pose and slowly take pics. spent 2hr.. but actually 1hr is more than enough. i don't recommend coming here. waste of money paid for entrance fee. the only transportation here is private tqxinor tuktuk. which costs almost the same.. not cheap

Lovely. Rooms are big and new. In the middle of nearly nowhere with a beatiful beach just 3 mins walking. Breakfast is actually included if you are not after a full english breakfast. You can make your own (istant- sigh) coffee and bread, and they provide you with some fruit and different treats every morning. You can manage to get a good price, lower than booking in advance online. Just be patient since their english is limited. The area receives mainly local tourism and only during the weekend. At least at the moment. Few restaurants and shops walking distance but your own transport could make life easier.

The place is a bit tied but overall a lovely location. The restaurant is very good quality and cheap. There is a mini mart but you dont really need to buy anything as the restaurant has everything you need. My wife & I had daily massages at $300 baht - for an hour. Very good. Ground floor of the complex. There are 2 cool restaurants close by. One that is 3 minutes walk along the beach - opened Dec 218 called 1d+ Day Artist - modern Thai cuisine. Then about 15 minutes walk along the beach or road (if high tide) there is a place called Eureka Beach Cafe great for lunch or early dinner, famous for its Nitro Coffee. I went for an amazing walk along the beach (1 hour each way) and through the National Park - cool board walk through a mangrove forest (loop - so if in a hurry walk in for 5 minutes and back - not full circle), then carried on to an amazing fishing village. WOW - must visit. The action is on the other side of the river and I could not figure out how to get across but still lovely to walk along the edge looking at old fishing boats etc. I found an lovely restaurant on the edge (google map it - only one there). I posted a map of the location and it shows the restaurant. Had a beer and garlic soft shell crab for almost no $$. Off the road a bit and there is a squid processing factory (small there) with thousands of squid drying in the sun - incredible to see.

If you do not want to risk your life, avoid this. But if you think electrical leakage make you thrill, try it. Personally, this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in my (and my girlfriend)'s life. Let me describe how 170+USD works. On the bright side, yes, hotel itself is beautiful with nice swimming pool. That's it. On the horrible side, electrical leakage from water heater (imagine you are soaked and the electric is there). The service after you found the electrical leakage, the solution and how to handle it is very poor. Also, low quality sleep from the bed that cause you backpain and noise from street nearby your room.
