The room we had booked wasn’t ready so they offered us an upgraded room that was ready for a very small and nominal up charge. Our room was clean, spacious and great view. Stay was not a 5/5 for the simple fact of no housekeeping. Prices are same as what they would be with housekeeping. Masks are not required by guests or staff which for us was great. Rooms service is brought into the room and hotel staff is interacting everywhere else with guests there is ZERO reason why housekeeping should not be back up and servicing guests. We had to call twice to get fresh towels brought up to the room. Wet and dirty towels were left to pile up in our room we paid very good money for. Things to know - if you want to dine at Arome make reservations. Food was decent. Service was excellent. Pool area was nice. Gym was good. Room service was excellent. Bring your housekeeping back and we would consider going back.

This hotel was ok but....
Reviewed By Lesley MThe hotel was ok, A little pricey ...however once we got there, we were advised that there was a $15 parking fee... and parking wasn't even on site as their tiny lot was full.... the parking garage under the hotel did have spots, but the door allowing you to enter was broken,,, so that was a whole other experience getting in. The hotel is old, but mostly clean.... our room stunk of stale urine, but because we needed an early check in (for a wedding) we had to take what was available(even though we had been told we were ok'd for early checkin, no room was flagged for us)... the rusty pipes above our bed head in our room, covering the electrical to the smoke alarm was a little disgusting too... other than that and the ancient elevators... the hotel was ok... no breakfast included unless you wanted to pay $15/person.... but the staff was extremely lovely and as helpful as they could be.

Reviewed By crouth77Did not get the room I asked for. We did not have a sofa bed as requested. Our room door did not lock properly. Our sink in the bathroom was broken. The hottub was not working and that was the only reason I had picked this hotel!! The pool was dirty. We stayed 3 nights and the cleaning staff did not do our room, not even once! We had to ask for more towels and coffee and take out the garbage. I will never return to this hotel!

Reviewed By Karen SWe had a great weekend getaway at the Hotel V. The parking was convenient and free. The location was excellent- close to the highway and walking distance to amenities . The outdoor thermal baths were relaxing and enjoyable!! We just wished that the lobby coffee was free.

Reviewed By andreab770903We didn’t stay too long here, just one night. But enjoyed my sleep and the overall experience! The hotel is quite small, but they included breakfast, which was a plus. Rooms are clean and amenities worked well. The location is very convenient, close to parliament.

Room smelled like humidity, ended up paying for breakfast when I thought it was offered

The room smelled a lot like humidity and I was surprised to see how small the bathroom was (for this price at least). I saw a paper at the front desk stating "Continental Breakfast offered for all guests from 7:00 to 10:00) only to end up getting charged 60$+ at the restaurant for taking the buffet. After asking the front desk they told me it was for the guests who stayed the night before but it wasn't specified, the lady didn't feel like she was sorry neither so it was pretty disappointing.

Reviewed By TaraElliott22Four Points by Sheraton @ Hull, QC • ***NO*** laundry as advertised (& obvs paid for) • Freaky Fridays —> hotel ***GUARANTEES*** not only in its advertising, but also underlined in a letter when you arrive that it will respect your privacy by NOT imposing happy hallowe’ens; but instead insists on it the next day, for once a week, but of course whoever is breaking in doesn’t actually stock properly; it took 2 hrs for us each week to pack for FFs, & then we had to re-shevel afterwards again too, obvs • a happy hallowe’en once pointed a bedside lamp towards items we had in a drawer b/c of snooping our stuff • 3 days grace so-called wellness chks (for Covid corpses???) —> the hotel ALSO insists on badgering its guests every 3rd day or so—sometimes it was only the 2nd—requiring the guests to “chk in” w/ the front desk; (that’s NOT what “checking in” to a hotel means!); if you don’t answer the phone, the hotel staff WILL go to your room & break in if you don’t answer the door! No exceptions!! What if you’re in the shower or away?! Yikes. • broken coffeemaker • too-narrow shower • the shower stall cover is clear & there’s a wall-sized mirror that requires covering for non-perverts parallel to it • crotch-height mirrors on BOTH counter & ***in shower*** too • ***NO*** dresser for clothes • broken vending machine —> always at least mostly sold out + won’t return your $$$ • elevator malfunctions • window covering broken, so there’s actually a tear in one corner & a place gawking would happen if not covered in the different corner • STILL hasn’t returned our $150 deposit & is blaming the bunk (but the bunk won’t even respond)
