Reviewed By DxbKhurramThe location of the Hotel is amazing. The cable car which takes you down to the city is a 5 minutes walk away, the cost of two way cable car trip is TL15 per person. So if you are not renting a car then this would be the best way to commute to the city. The hotel is located on a hill so the temperature is cooler than the city. We stayed in a Luxury Triple room which had a double bed and a single bed. The restaurant has good food options and the food quality is really good. Breakfast is also good. I would recommend it for families who wish to stay away from the main city, enjoy nature and good family time.

Reviewed By Seren SThe room was clean and cozy. There was a small sea view. Staff was helpful, my cars tyre has burst and they helped to pump air with a compressor from hotel. The most amazing part was the view of the restaurant. Breakfast was decent but with that view, it was amazing. There was no filter coffee in breakfast, just nescafe.

Reviewed By Farooq AStarted a travel with family with AlYaqoub Travel Agency from Bahrain, to Ordu & Trabzone, with Atlas Global Airlines. The tour agent AlYaqoub are doing good with their customers, specialy Vanesse who is always caring us. Atlas had a business class, it was acceptable, Mr. Ebrahim Surori is incharge of atlas flights, he was there all the time coordinating, supervising the flights. When we arraived at the humble Trabzone Airport, we took the tour bus to Ordu, it took us about 2 hours and a half to reach to Anemon Hotel. The location is excellent, the rooms are very good, the breakfast buffet is humble with less varaities. I was annoyed by the embarresment of keeping the Alcohol bottles within the enterance of the restaurant, which I made a note to the hotel manager and the tour agency. I advise the hotel manager to tell thier staff to smile more oftenly. No smile No business.

I expected more of it
Reviewed By MeloDoAfter making reservations by phone, we could beck in the same day. The lady was very helpful on the phone. I wanted 2 rooms with our children and she suggested that we would book the large suite which consisted of 2 areas with a door in between. We would be able to use the sofa bed for the children in the first ‘room’. (3 and 4 years old). For our youngest of 1, we would get an infant bed in our room. Unfortunately, there was no door between the areas. That was a bummer. There also wasn’t an infant bed put in the room. We carry along a Derya inflatable baby tent which we used for the youngest. I don’t think it would have been possible to put an extra bed anyway in the room. We had a large bathroom with a tub. All children loved it! That was nice. Whe wanted to stay 2 nights and also enjoy the pool and hamam (Turkish bathhouse) As it became morning, it became obvious that it was impossible to stay 2 nights. I didn’t sleep the entire night because the bed was so extremely hard... my husband had an awful night as well because of it, but with a little more sleep then I. Thus we checked out the next morning. While checking out, the receptionist took a booking call. What I noticed was that during the call she was making faces and sighing all the time. It made me feel sad for the person at the other end of the line... Breakfast was typical Turkish. Lots of green stuff, salad, tomatoes, cucumber, bread. Nothing special. It was nice they had bottled water though. When returning to Ordu, I don’t think we will stay in this hotel. Is it a clean hotel? Very. Do they have nice facilities? Sure. Are people nice and welcoming? Mostly yes, but only because of the doormen. It was pouring rain when leaving, and the drove the car 3 meters closer, so we wouldn’t get soaking wet and all children got carried with an umbrella to the car. (They loved it!) Would I recommend this hotel to a loved one? No. Just make your own choices. If you like sleeping on a hard mattress; I’m sure you’ll be fine ;-)

Cockroaches in the room !
Reviewed By r11wAfter a LONG, draining and STRESSFUL lockdown, my husband and I were finally able to have a little getaway. And what would be a better way to detox from the lockdown than visiting the beautiful Ordu! We took it upon ourselves to book a room in what is considered a top chain and respectful hotel chain, the Radisson Blue. After a couple of days in the hotel, I was surprised today that I found a cockroach roaming the room! I immediately went down to the reception and demanded a change of rooms. The receptionist called down the manager who was rude and very unhelpful, and suggested the room next to mine, to which I refused since it would mean a high chance of also finding cockroaches there. The manager remained very disrespectful even after I explained my situation and kept giving excuses about closing the curtain/window and so on. After that, I went up to my original room and was surprised yet again with more than one cockroach! I understand the Radisson Blue takes their clients complaints very seriously and that this situation is a serious one! However, the receptionist didn’t reflect the Hotel’s name. Mrs.Abdin
