We invite all our visiting guests home-style cuisine, polite service and small rooms with a cozy. the beach is 150 m from the coast Ipoly 100 m away from our pension. Various recreational facilities (archery, fishing, hiking, museum visits, horse riding etc), and will offer guests.

Reviewed By 149attilafOnly 1 km walk from the center, which is useful after a good dinner :) Cosy, nice and clean room with brand new furnitures. Though a bit small, ideal for 1-2 night stay. Staff is polite. Definitely good price to value.

Reviewed By Ged201I was here with 3 colleagues in the dead of winter. We were the only guests so it's hard to judge what this place is like when lively. The place could do with a cash injection, however, the hospitality was very good from all staff. Back in the area in a couple of weeks and will probably stay here again. The photo is sunrise from the car park!

Wonderful hospitality in beautiful Northern Hungary
Reviewed By Viktoria KWe enjoyed genuine hospitality and care throughout our stay at Rozsakert Vendeghaz in Romhany. The guest house is clean, comfortable and cosy with excellent value for price. The owner is extremely friendly, welcoming and he helped us a lot with sightseeing and activities in the area. He has a vast knowledge about the region and does everything possible to create an enjoyable stay for his guests. He made a delicious, hearty breakfast using home grown vegetables and herbs. We also loved the sports facilities provided by the guesthouse (bikes, badminton, table tennis, etc.) and had a great time relaxing in its salt chamber. The guesthouse is located close to the supermarket, and Romhany, the village itself is only about 80 km from Budapest. It can be easily reached by bus, too and there are plenty of excursion options in the neighbourhood. Our tour highlights in Romhany were strolling through the village admiring the beautiful scenery, watching the sunset from the hill of Rakoczi's famous Turkish hazelnut tree, observing animals on the fields during early morning hours and chatting with the friendly local people. The nearby village of Bank offers a fantastic lake for swimming, and there is a breathtaking mountain view from the Pronay lookout tower, which can be reached from Romhany by hiking through the forest - both were superb excursions which we would do again! We highly recommend Rozsakert Vendeghaz in Romhany to everyone who is looking for peace, serenity and truly hospitable people in the countryside.

Our server also offered some wine that accompanied the main perfectly. The restaurant’s location is superb with spectacular views. Will most definitely be returning here.

Reviewed By AronB836We didn't expect too much at the time of the booking but as it turned out we should. The hotel itself is a renovated castle situated in a beautiful old park. The room was just the right size. The wellness was also better than expected. What makes this place better than the others is probably the calmness and a really peaceful atmosphere. The staff is extraordinary. They are truly friendly and helpful. The food was really delicious and during the dinner a band played really pleasant music. All together if you want some peace and bored by the fancy hotels visit this place!

The fan was very welcome in the hot weather! We enjoyed the breakfasts which were always different and full of local produce. The evening meals were huge and the choice was impressive! Do not attempt to diet whilst you stay here! Highly recommend. Again!

Forgettable place
Reviewed By 137krisztinamBathroom is retro. We had no hot water in the shower. No proper dark curtains for the good night sleep. No air conditioning . Very noisy place as being in the cross of two streets and a 0-24 petrol statin in 50 m distance. The breakfast was poor and the staff not polite at all. I do not recommend to anybody.

We are a complex of guesthouses, wellness and restaurant. Our guesthouse is composed of 2 bedrooms, a kitchenette, shower and WC. We give the guesthouse, not a room, for 4 persons price range from 50 to 70 euros. We have the country's one and only operational stream watermill. Our restaurant offers traditional Hungarian cuisine and authentic Filipino cuisine. The only Filipino restaurant in Hungary.
Hidden treasure in the forest
Reviewed By PestoscsirkeWe were visiting following a friend's recommendation. The place is wonderful and the kitchen is unique in Hungary. The owners treat guest like friends, we felt ourselves home from the first moment. The food is very good, in matter of quality and amount, prices are very reasonable. I rarely write this, but if you like to try different places to eat, you have to try restaurant while you are in Hungary. The surrounding is beautiful and the road leading there represents the real Hungarian countryside.

Reviewed By 577attilakPerfect location. Every necesseary provider in 100 meters. Kind and flexible staff and the quality of the accomodation is more than waited. (over than some hungarian 4 stars hotel). I can recommend for all. Unfortunately breakfast is nit available, but the coffe is free ;-)
