Perfect in every single way
Reviewed By Maverik262002If I could provide 6 stars for this resort, I would have done so. First off, the grounds are magnificent, with a mind-blowing view of Khao Yai National Park as it’s picture perfect landscape. Top this off with a scrumptious breakfast and delectable (and substantial) afternoon tea, and service staff that are so genuinely friendly and pleasant, and they rate a solid 5 stars. The 6th star was because the security (?) pointed out that our car tyre (a Europcar rental) was running flat, and then with the help of the reception, proceeded to arrange for the patching of the tyre in double quick time so that our holiday was not affected. A huge shout of thanks to the team in The Series Khao Yai - they are a bunch of gems.

Reviewed By KevinKhonKaenDear Thailand Traveler, My family and I spent 4 nights at Botanica Khao Yai over a long holiday weekend during May 2022 and we had a very nice and memorable stay. The COVID-19 pandemic has crushed tourism in Thailand and around the world, and this has left property owners reeling. It is, therefore, quite easy to find things to criticize at any resort when very few people are traveling. Taking that into consideration, we found all of the essential aspects of our stay quite to our satisfaction. The room was great, everything worked well, and we enjoyed a terrific view of a lovely bamboo grove against a mountain backdrop outside of the windows of our well-designed double room. The service team was professional and accommodating, and the overall ambiance of the property was lovely. The Nespresso coffee maker in the room and the complimentary snacks and soft drinks are also a nice feature. Botanica is a special destination that I am able to happily and confidently recommend to anyone visiting Khao Yai. By the way, all of the available rooms were fully booked during the first 3 days of our 4-day stay, so I don't recommend assuming room availability with no reservation. Best/Kevin Khon Kaen, Thailand

Reviewed By diesolineCurrently at the hotel for our 4days and 3 nights stay and i would say that our stay by far is good. We had a few mishaps with the rooms regarding the first room being small and we upgraded it to a pool villa. The pool villa had some issue with the heated pool and Khun Lada and Khun Gong helped us straight away and the following day, moved us to a junior suite with pool without any extra charges. The downside is the pool still not warming up due to a broken heater. We were informed a little late about that but we still stayed 1 more night. The pool in the villa might get a little dirty being placed under some trees but it's not a deal breaker. Maybe placing an angled net on top might help to prevent dry leaves from falling into the pool. Food was just okay and no bacon which i really love. Haha. Still, we are very thankful to Khun Lada and Khun Gong for making our stay better after having a few issues here. Khun Lada is a very helpful staff and would go out of her way to help out the guests in need. The pool personel was also very helpful when he had to go and clean the pool in the villa at night. I will still recommend this hotel to my friends and family members.

Change Franchise, Cheaper price, but they rather have a serious renovation
Reviewed By Chakrit TI visited this hotel in the past while it was under Dusit Franchise. This time, the hotel change from Dusit to Imperial franchise. So, I decided to stay as this hotel as I have to entertain my client who live near the hotel location. Upon arrival, I found out that the hotel price has been dropped around 10% from the time under Dusit franchise. So, I decided to book Junior Suite for this visit. Upon arrival, it is strange to see the hotel entrance is packed with cars from SUV to Pick Up. The problem is the entrance is on the second floor and the ramp going up is rather high. The entrance has only one bell service person at that time. Therefore, it is not surprise at the slower management of the entering point. Still, the bell service is polite and very professional. The check-in area consist of 2 staff members. They provide a good and polite service. We asked for them to book the Chinese restaurant for us as I have 3 guests coming for a visit. They did a remarkable job to book private room for us. Service wise, they did a very good job. The best part of this hotel is the Chinese Restaurant. We ordered the All You can Eat menu and a few a la carte dishes. The All You can Eat deal is roughly US$12 per person. So, it is very cheap and I rather recommend this as an option. The meal for 5 people including extra a la carte order cost us US$100, which is amazingly cheap for a fine dining. The meals are cheap and tasty. The services are excellent and the waitering staffs are taking really good care for our group. After all positive point, I would like to go for the points those need to be improve. First is the room itself. We choose Junior Suite which cost us THB1,800 (US$60). It is one of the cheapest Junior Suite among First Class Hotels in the world. (Actually, the President Suite still cost below US$100, as it stated on their website). The room is big and providing nice view of Korat City. However, the room need a serious renovation. The bed is large and comfortable, the space and decoration is good. But the wallpaper and the toilet is dated. I saw a crack on the wall inside the bedroom area. The worst part is the bathing area, it is leaking while we have shower. The bath tub is rather small for the modern standard and the water is leaking (uncertain whether it came from bath tub or shower section). If I knew that Junior Suite has not been renovate, I would pay extra to go for Presidential Suite instead. I recalled that the hotel has renovate standard room years ago, while it was under Dusit franchise (as I stayed at a newly renovated room back then). So, I don't understand why the Junior Suite has not been renovated. Apart from the room, we found that the breakfast meal selection and standard has been dropped significantly. The breakfast has less selection and fruit selection has only watermelon for our choice. Comparing the the standard under Dusit franchise, I rather say that the selection has been trimmed down significantly. The bread selection is limited. The hot meal tends to be filled up with boiled rice, fried noodle, fried rice. The Western selection are limited to French toast, sausage, and ham. The egg selections are limited to fried egg, boiled egg, omelet, and Thai style fried egg. The Poach egg and other egg menus has been dropped out as well. Generally, Imperial Korat is one of the best value for money hotel with good service and large room. However, there are a few things they have to improve. I believe many room need to be renovate, the corridor on each floor need to be improve on lighting, the elevator need to be check (on the 6th Floor the button to go down to the ground floor need to be push many time). Price wise, this hotel is still worth for the money you are paying for.

Shower area flooded, not fixed despite twice complained.
Reviewed By LiewTHThe room itself is pretty decent, neat and clean. The wifi is decent, as is the airconditioning. Hillside view is pleasant. But the shower area floods after a minute or two of showering. The blockage must be further down, as the water outflow from shower stall overflows out of the floortrap in the toilet floor. Despite two complaints on different occasions, this was not fixed. The breakfast buffet has poor choices, and the waitstaff do not bother to check if the food in the foodwarmer trays are running out. When I saw several were empty, I decided to call out to the staff who were chatting behind the omelette station, and he just looked at me in a disinterested manner, before slowly going to take the tray to the kitchen for refill or prepare a fresh batch. I will not recommend this hotel.

Reviewed By Ming WSo Terrible .The wall is very thin and dirty. We can heard outside all night, sound of steps/elevator/stroller all of sound.Toilet smell so bad and sink look dirty. The cabinet smell bad too. Mattress and pillow clean but we can't sleep because of all sound all night.

Reviewed By MineC119การเดินทางมาโรงแรมตั้งอยู่ในซอย CITY LINK CONDO เข้าจากถนนใหญ่พอสมควร จะเห็นป้าย B2 สะดุดตาอยู่ฝั่งซ้ายมือ มีที่จอดรถใต้ตึกกับข้างตึก แต่ที่จอดข้างตึกจะไม่มีหลังคา ด้านบรรยากาศด้วยความที่ตึกเปิดใหม่ก็คือสะอาด อยู่ในซอยหมู่บ้านเลยไม่เปลี่ยว มีรปภ.อยู่ประจำลานจอด แต่ด้วยความเป็นโรงแรมที่เหมือนเป็นจุดพักผ่อนก่อนเดินทางต่อ ก็ไม่ได้มีวิวอะไรให้ดูซักเท่าไหร่ ตัวตึกโรงแรมมี 7 ชั้น มีลิฟต์หนึ่งตัวให้บริการ มีบันไดทั้งสองฝั่งของตึก ห้องพักที่เราพักคือแรกเป็นห้อง Deluxe Triple Room ใช้การ์ดในการเปิดประตูและเปิดระบบไฟฟ้าในห้องพัก ระบบล็อกห้องดีปลอดภัย ห้องพักสะอาดดี ไม่มีกลิ่น แอร์เย็น ไวไฟแรงดี ปลั๊กก็ครอบคลุมที่เห็นคือมีทั้งสองฝั่งของเตียง ที่นอนสบายมาก เตียงที่ได้จะเป็นเตียงใหญ่หนึ่งเตียง กับเตียงเสริมริมหน้าต่าง คืนที่สองเป็นห้อง Superior Premier Room เป็นเตียงใหญ่เตียงเดียว ข้อเสียคือด้วยความที่ห้องเล็กและติดตั้งแอร์ไว้ปลายเตียงหันเข้าเตียง ทำให้แอร์ลงที่ตัวเรามากว่าห้องแรกเลยทำให้แสบจมูกนิดหน่อย ในห้องพักมีผ้าขนหนูผืนเล็ก-ผืนใหญ่ ตู้เย็น น้ำเปล่า กระติกน้ำร้อนพร้อมกาแฟซอง ตู้เซฟ ไดร์เป่าผม ชุดคลุมอาบน้ำและรองเท้า ห้องน้ำที่นี่กว้างดี ไม่รู้สึกอับหรืออึดอัด ทางโรงแรมมีสบู่เหลว สบู่ก้อน และแชมพูให้ พร้อมคอตตอนบัด และหมวกคลุมผม โดยรวมประทับใจในทุกด้าน เหมาะกับการมาทำงานหรือแวะพักก่อนเดินทางต่อ
