Pleasant family winter holiday
Reviewed By Tour441102We stayed in a family room - it is very clean and practical. Bathroom is very nice and newly fitted. Food was good and the owner is very helpful. It is a great destination for a true skiing lovers - Ankogel mountain is very close by and offering great ski slopes for more advanced skiers.

We offer a bit MORE in our hotel: more hospitality, more friendliness, more attention for every single person combined with perfect service. We have 17 cozy and lovingly furnished rooms with pleasant colors and fabrics. Reception, hotel bar and restaurant invite you to linger. You will find a pleasant comfort at 4 star level. For our sporty holidaymakers, the hotel has a ski / snowboard room, a hiking boot and a bike storage room. After an active holiday, you can relax in our in-house wellness area, with a Finnish sauna, a herbal (soft) sauna, 2 infrared beds, experience showers and a relaxation area. You can spend pleasant evenings at the hotel bar or the restaurant. Our new wellness area offers enjoyment at the highest level - for our guests, of course, included! It awaits you a world of peace and relaxation. 2 saunas (1x Finnish sauna, 1x herbal sauna) invite you to escape everyday life. Let it go well, by unwind on our infrared loungers, or enjoy the silence in the relaxation area. Who wants to cooling off after the sauna, will ensure the right choice in the experience showers. Reviewed By Barby-zadekReally excellent breakfast for normal price, extrem nice hosts. I would recommend to everybody, that is near Mallnitz and is hungry, that he/she visits this hotel. We were there only for breakfast, but it was really nice. Suprisingly big offer in time that were not many guests in house.

Reviewed By La Ventana Azul SVery friendly and affordable. They had a nice offer with the local SPA included. Bus stop to the skistation just a few steps away. Great breakfast! Best place in the village. Very comfortable beds. Will repeat!

Big sunny garden, besides the river Mallnitz Bach, with play facilities, outside kitchen including barbecue and pizza oven. Organized activities such as: campfire evening, grill evening, pizza evening, kids activities, tours. Spacious apartments, ideal for families or small groups. Apartments are refreshed and updated since 2019/2020. Step by step more renovations will be done. Mallnbach Apartments is owned by Erik, Annemiek and their son Willem Jan who moved from the Netherlands (sept. 2019) to Austria.

Reviewed By PaliP25It wasn't my first visit and definitely not the last one. Owners are amazing people, very helpful and friendly, It felt like home. It's a cozy place, perfect base camp for some perfect Austrian powder in ❄️. Ankogel ski resort is about 5 minutes by car and molltaler around 25. Just perfect!

Staff Helga and Monica were really friendly and helpful. Included in the price was breakfast, bus to the cable car and mountains, discount on the cable car, and a cab to the station. Location in the centre of Mallnitz was perfect. Breakfast was a simple, but tasty help yourself buffet. Highly recommend this hotel, and would definitely stay again. :)

Reviewed By werdlerswereld2A hotel that does not accept credit cards and charges extra for changing towels could not be a 4 star hotel in my opinion. Depending on the location in this akward building you might have a nice room with a view and spacious bathroom, but that is not for sure. Breakfast and dinner included but not living up to 4star expectations. Place is run by a family but since they want to do everyting themselves it will be hard to deliver top service. When checking out (10 a.m.) check your bill.

Mallnitz ligt in een van de grootste en mooiste natuurgebieden van Karinthië de “Hohe Tauern”. Wij doen er alles aan om jou een onvergetelijke zomer– of wintervakantie te bieden in een van onze 7 appartementen die van alle gemakken zijn voorzien. Proef de sfeer van de echte Oostenrijkse Gemütlichkeit met een moderne twist.

Reviewed By Dennis AWhat a fantastic place. The owners Henk, Marieke & son Lennon are very kind people and they help there guests in every way, they also have a lot of tips for things to do. The rooms are very nice,clean and big. The village Mallnitz is also a great little town whit some nice restaurants and bars. There is also a good supermarket (billa) in the neighbourhood. will be back.

The good: - Very friendly staff - we don't speak (much German) and they were friendly - called them one night to say we would be late for dinner (due to a long hike) and they said no problem. When we arrived dinner was served! - Room is spartan but we slept extremely well, also had a nice shared balcony with great views of the mountains -next to a stream - so can hear the water rushing down... very calming - breakfast is amazing! Fresh and tasty! - Make your own lunch box is a great way to ensure you have a tasty bite on the hill, make as much or little as you want they have bag and wax paper to wrap your sandwiches. - Location is great close to the center of town but just enough outside of it for a bit more remote feeling. - Free Stiegl from the tap till 10 pm What could be improved - hotel could use a bit of a refresh - rooms and such are dated. - would not recommend this hotel if you plan on staying at the hotel all day All in all would highly recommend.

Food is excellent and staff is friendly and efficient and the restaurant is clean with comfortable chairs. I hope they change the menu regularly so that there is something new to choose from when we return, or even better add more choice to the menu.

Villa Talheim is situated in the heart of Nationalpark Hohe Tauern, Carinthia. 4 cosy, spacious and fully equipped appartements for 2-10 people. A beautiful garden with quite and romantic corners, barbecue, trampolin for children and more. Just 1 minute away from shops, restaurants and ski bus. In Winter free entrance into the Tauerntherme with swimming pool and sauna. families, sport groups
