Reviewed By liketotravelNewYorkIt’s a nice hotel but I am not sure how it has five stars. The service is ok at best, staff is very nice and friendly but inept. Breakfast was ok. I could hear the water coming down the drains from the room above. The room was overall ok. The common areas are nice especially the pool overlooking the sea. I wish it was longer and swimmable instead of having a kids area. Overall it was fine but nowhere near the caliber of other hotels in the small luxury hotel of the world consortium.

Old run down hotel in a perfect location
Reviewed By ElizaM78The hotel was right in front of us at the port on the best part of the island so it has a fantastic location. The rooms are very old, balconies very narrow and the bathrooms need an update too. On a positive note the service was great and the hotel was extremely clean.

The Best neglected location in Korrissa Kea - Turner from Cape Town
Reviewed By johnturner4443The Aegean Apartments must easily rate as the best neglected location in Korrissa. The facility with several rooms two with balconies overlooking a busy harbour is a superb location but here the positive superlatives end. Little or no money has been spent on maintenance and the place is in a very poor condition with the owner clearly intent on milking the rental returning nothing to care for the asset. The run down condition even at the start of the busy season is compounded by the daily help who also appears to share the owners view that the facility warrants a slap dash approach. Cleaning material including a mop and bucket of dirty water is daily on prominent display on the entrance patio plus other detritus that is never tidied up such as a half empty bottle of water that rolled around on the floor for over a week during our stay. These are but some of the examples of poor housekeeping but the real serious problem was the poo tissue paper collected from room toilets left lying in open plastic packets also on the patio for days on end and receiving attention from visiting cats adding to the problem. I could go on with more examples of poor maintenance and housekeeping but are sure that readers will by now have got the message. AVOID the Aegean Seaview Apartments.

Reviewed By Tiggy500Spent a week here as a family of four with kids 6 and 8 years. Absolutely lovely place to visit - the rooms are comfortable and stylish and well thought out with everything you need. The location is also great-the site itself is gorgeous and is in walking distance of a lovely beach and choices for dining out/self catering in either Korissa or the more trendy yachting strip around the headland. Each had its own charm. We rented a car and this was worthwhile to get around the beautiful (and hilly!) island but if you are fit and an avid hiker you might make the sights on foot. The real heart of this place is the owners who are hospitality personified. We really appreciated the warm welcome, tips on the island and the attention to detail and care that they have poured into this very special place. As well as tips on where to visit and Kostas's very kind collection of us with our luggage, we also enjoyed the acorn harvesting that was taking place during our stay. We left with more than 1 bag of Marcie's acorn cookies-I doubt anyone who tries one resists a few bags! Kea was really well worth a visit. Plenty of places to eat, swim and relax as well as the network of hiking trails that criss cross the island. Very low key and far from the tourist crowds that descend elsewhere for the school mid term. We particularly enjoyed the hike Kostas recommended to Kathea-it was extraordinary to hike down along an old river bed to an otherwise inaccessible cove and find ourselves standing in the middle of an ancient settlement with an intact amphitheater, temple ruins and the remains of ancient baths. A very memorable experience. Lucky enough to have travelled widely and I would rate this place in the top 5 of our holidays. It is comfortable and ticks all the practical boxes but more importantly and memorably it has soul. Highly recommend it!

Reviewed By NikosTsak33Πήγαμε το Πάσχα και περάσαμε καταπληκτικά, το δωμάτιο πεντακάθαρο και η κ. Ρίτσα χαμογελαστή και έτοιμη να σε βοηθήσει σε ότι χρειαστείς! Οι θερμοπομποί στο δωμάτιο έκαναν τρομερή δουλειά καθώς τα νησιά το βράδυ, αν δεν είναι καλοκαίρι, «τσιμπάνε» λόγω υγρασίας. Δίπλα στο λιμάνι της Κορησσίας. Value for money. Όταν ξαναπάμε Τζιά εκεί θα πάμε γιατί αξίζει!

Reviewed By anasta79We had a lovely stay at Hotel Korissia! The room was tidy and clean and a short walk from the port. The owner Panagiotis was very helpful in telling us where to go and what to do in Kea. The breakfast in the morning was very enjoyable and fresh. Highly recommended accommodation and great value! We had such a fantastic time in Kea!
