Very good hotel close by the sea
Reviewed By Stephan SHad a stopover at this family owned hotel located basically on the beach and in the middle of this little town at the same time. Very friendly staff and modernised clean rooms are only few of the positive things we encountered. A rich breakfast buffet gives you the perfect start into the day! We will definitely come back here again.

Reviewed By mareng626Wir haben im August 2021 unseren Urlaub in Kellenhusen verbracht. Die Ferienwohnung Ronja im Schwedenstil hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus ist topp. Alles vorhanden, was man braucht, der Garten ist eingezäunt , perfekt für unsere Hündin. Ich ist nicht lang zum Strand und auch der Supermarkt ist zu Fuß gut erreichbar! Wir kommen sicher wieder ??❤️! Familie Gronemeier

Reviewed By HolgerHediEs war ein wunderbarer Urlaub. Wir waren 6 Tage dort. Die Pension ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Unsere Junior Suite war sehr schön. Dem Ehepaar Tscharn, gehört die Pension. Sie sind super liebe, aufmerksame, tolle Menschen. Wir haben uns rundum sehr gut versorgt und sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder.

Stunning service
Reviewed By The MThe hotel seems to be owned by the family for decades now and you really feel like a part of them. The rooms are renovated and modern (although the hallways can still use some paintwork), the service is very good and the food outstanding. Unfortunately they don't offer lunch anymore but breakfast and dinner are always of high quality. The hotel is in walking distance to the beach, so great for families.

Nicht Familienfreundlich
Reviewed By enricos556Die Pension ist nicht Familienfreundlich, bei Booking habe ich unser Kind unter ein Jahr angegeben, nach telefonischer Auskunft der Vermieterin ist ein Baby kein Problem. Allerdings war der Kinderwagen nicht erwünscht in der Pension, weder im Vorraum ( wo genug Platz war) bzw. im Zimmer wo auch Platz war. Angeblich wird der Teppich beschmutzt. Ich wäre bereit gewesen, die Räder zu säubern oder auch eine Decke im Zimmer zu legen , wurde jedoch alles verneint. Desweiteren lässt das Zimmer zu wünschen übrig, der Muffente bzw. Mottrige Gestank und auch die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit waren für unser Baby und uns alles andere als Angenehm. Kellerasseln sind durch das Zimmer gekrochen , unter den Bettschränken , waren tote Kellerasseln. Dicht besiedelte Spinnweben unter / hinter der Heizung sowie unter den Betten haben einen Eckel verursacht, da die Zimmer von der Eigentümerin Persönlich gereinigt werden. Dass das Frühstück an den Tisch gebracht wurde und nicht als Befuett freigegeben wurde ist Verständlich , wegen Covid 19. Allerdings ist es Fraglich, wenn Körnerbrötchen statt helle Brötchen gewünscht werden , das der Gast Aufpreis zu zahlen hat. Für eine Familie mit Kleinkind, ist die Pension nicht zu weiterzuempfehlen. Als Beweis sind auch Bilder zwecks dem Ungeziefer aufgenommen wurden. Ich könnte noch mehr ins Detail gehen , aber ich belasse es jetzt dabei. Für Fragen stehe ich gern zur Verfügung.

Good value for money
Reviewed By chris-aomHaus Westfalen is convenient located in the heart of Kellenhusen, a small but very nice town at the German Baltic Sea’s coast. The rooms are small and clean. Furnisher looks a little bit old whereas Haus Westfalen is a B&B and not a 5* hotel. Considering the price tag for each room it is definitely value for money for short stays. The service of the owner is very good and friendly. Rooms are cleaned every day by staff and towels as well as bed sheets are all in normal condition (=clean). In addition Haus Westfalen offers its guests a bike rental which is very convenient as it is possible to drive around near the Baltic Sea and Kellenhusen is a great starting point of a bicycle tour. Booking with breakfast is def. a good choice as it offers a wide variety of food incl. buns (normal, corn etc.), sausages, cheese, jams and cereals. In addition coffee, juices and milk are offered. All the food is nearly endless as the owner refills every here and there. On a personal note I cannot understand the low ratings of previous guests considering the price tag! For people picky about their hotel, well choose a real hotel instead of a B&B.
