Not fancy, but functional
Reviewed By TassosPngA nice motel, for a short stay, conveniently located on Diepoldsauer Strasse -just a few minutes’ drive from the Swiss border. It’s approximately 1km away from Hohenems centre, but just across a Cinema complex, with several cafes and restaurants. The no-frills rooms are large and comfortable, and the breakfast was quite good, with all the main choices, served in a pleasant hall. As expected, there are no other catering options, but a well stock vending machine. The only problem that I encountered during my visit, about one year ago, it was the almost inexistent internet connection, for both days of my stay. But I would guess it was a temporary problem. Mind that the reception is open until late evening, so if one is to arrive late, it’s better to check the check-in process.

A very nice hotel, friendly and helpful people
Reviewed By Pamela498My cousin and I recently spent four nights in Hohenems. Hotel Cafe Lorenz is a short walk from the railway station. Our rooms were pleasant, quiet and comfortable and the whole hotel spotlessly clean. Staff are friendly and most helpful. The breakfast buffet offers plenty of choice. We found Hotel Cafe Lorenz to be an excellent choice!

Reviewed By marsham745A family run hotel, & fairly new, the room was furnished in typical minimalist Tyrollean style- lots of pale wood builtins with a Scandinavian feel. Beds very comfortable & large excellent bathroom with walk in shower. A nice view of the nearby mountains & openable windows- a bonus as the room was too hot. Also in the hotel is an excellent delicatessen with a large number of cold (& hot) meats,salads and cheeses. The Leberkase which is baked on the premises appears at the fabulous buffet spread for breakfast. Likewise the cheeses and cold sliced meat. The delicious bread & rolls arrive hot from the bakery. The proprietors Christian & Vanessa are absolutely delightful. Nothing is too much trouble or a problem.

Reviewed By 305hannekMitte August waren wir für 1 Nacht zu Gast im OEKO Hotel und waren nicht nur über das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr angenehm überrascht, sondern auch wie man umweltfreundlich ein Hotel führen und versorgen kann . Das neue Hotel liegt verkehrstechnisch optimal (Besuch der Bregenzer Festspiele und nahe des Hotels liegt der Bahnhof, um die Festspiele / Bregenz ganz entspannt zu besuchen, die Zimmer sind praktisch eingerichtet - auch sehr sauber, für die Anreise ist ein kostenfreier Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. Der Frühstücksraum ist etwas nüchtern, auch das Angebot war überschaubar, doch es wurde stets aufgefüllt. Hier ist es noch ausbaufähig – speziell was Vollkornprodukte, Obst, etc. angeht. Doch insgesamt können wir dieses Hotel bestens empfehlen, da es den Herausforderung bzgl. Umwelt gerecht wird. Wir wünschen dem Team weiterhin viel Erfolg !

Not bad, suitable for one night
Reviewed By FriemensWe had to break our journey to switzerland due to traffic jam, the check in is performed by a machine - you put in a reservation code and the machine is providing the key card and a parking ticket for the lot in front of the hotel. The apartment itself (nr 10) is spacy and quiet. Unfortunately breakfast time starts at 8.00 am which was too late for us so we missed the pre-payed breakfast. It's located just a few minutes from the highway. At the end of the day I can recommend the hotel for a short break.
