Reviewed By Antony GWe had a comfortable, friendly stay at Churchill Courts Hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. I recommend putting your food orders in early, as they can take a long time. The location is good for getting around Gulu.

Reviewed By Savinah123I had a great experience at Acholi In the service was great and rooms really comfortable. I hear they have refurbished and honestly I couldn't wrong the service me and my friends experienced. Loved the pool its really hot here so was nice to be able to cool off!

Need to wait for previous utensils to be washed (which is cleaned in clogged sink water) Called so many managers and especially pooja who did booking but they all disappear when we pay remaining amount. Dirtiest kitchen which don't allow to use living room. Gardern was dirty not at all cleaned. All other properties are better than this. Please pay money at the time of checkout so that all your problems are sorted. No dustbin so all garbage is in kitchen and living area. Plz don’t waist your money and Not at all recommended

Reviewed By Pete669I have been to Jojo's Palace around 5 times over as many years and will come again. There is lots to recommend. Beds are comfortable, showers work, breakfast is fine with omelette on the menu, the bar serves well chilled well priced drinks, food is served throughout the day and can be brought to your room for no extra cost, the wifi is excellent, the fan in the room works well, there is football shown on match days, it is centrally located and the staff are friendly and honest. All this for 30,000ugx a night. So what are the downsides?. It can be noisy at night - say 4 times in the last fortnight. It is clean enough but is not as obsessionally spotless as previously. Overall, this is a great place to stay for those who want value.

Reviewed By atwood2010I arrived at this hotel around 9 pm on my way from Murchison falls national park and I was happy that the hotel already had my reservation I had made online. Esther was quick to check me into my room together with Amos who carried my luggage to my room. The hotel is in the middle of town with excellent rooms and fast internet. The rooms are very affordable with hot water.
