Reviewed By 256santomMy family and I just stayed in Cuba at this resort for 10 days from may 24 to June 4 .They by far exceeded all my expectations . This is the best resort in all of Cuba !!! I’ve been coming to Cuba approximately 22 times and this is hands-down the best place to go from entertainment to food to all the people that work there thank you for making our vacation a great enjoyable time also a big thanks to all the people including the gardeners the pool guys the security the lifeguards all you are fantastic people and I cannot wait to return again. The kids club staff Absolutely excellent people they were so lovely and kind to my three children always involving them in activities . We will miss you and we will see you soon can’t wait to come back and see all you beautiful people !! And by the way our rooms were impeccable always clean our sheets were always changed every day thank you again !! We will see you soon…… Santo , Shanna , Frankie , Savannah and Victoria . ??

Faites demi-tour !
Reviewed By Marc RDéjà que la "route" pour arriver à cette casa s'assimile à un mauvais chemin de montagne, la mauvaise impression se poursuit dès l'entrée avec un wc, donnant sur le salon, sans porte (bonjour l'intimité), un évier situé dans une sorte de couloir, toujours sans porte et donnant toujours sur le salon, n'autorisant que les personnes "taille mannequin" à se laver ! Quand vous vous tournez vers la chambre, un sentiment de claustrophobie vous envahit en raison de l'absence de fenêtre mais également de la noirceur (meubles et éclairage) de la pièce. J'ajoute qu'au niveau électrique, je doute fort de la conformité de l'installation (prises de courant sur bloc). Le frigo, dans la chambre fait un bruit épouvantable. Et j'en oublie certainement...

Might be great if you get the right room for the right price
Reviewed By dorus1234Of the six casas and hotels where we stayed in Cuba this one gave us the worst experience. Why? Well, when we arrived only one room was available which was one of the rooms on the ground floor "room 4" and had two single beds. In our booking.com pre-paid voucher room with a view was mentioned but this one didn't have a view at all as it was located under a staircase, which probably led to the room with a view. The quality of this room was really bad initially as there was mold on the walls of the bedroom and the bathroom accompanied by a very moldy smell. Being a COPD sufferer who tries to escape the British viruses, this was pretty unacceptable. We could change to room 3 also on the groundfloor near the entrance but we slept also very badly there. The bed was a small double with an awful wonky matress that left me with a backache. Probably this bed is OK for a single as the middle of the mattress was relatively unaffected. So we went back to room 4 where there had been some cleaning of the mold patches but still smelly but it was the only option, no other room available. Knowing that we paid 66 CUCs per night we guess there must have been some double booking as these rooms were usually rented out for 25 CUCs per night. The problem of prepaid is that you do not have much bargaining power. So we basically had to stay another 4 nights there. Else I would have voted with my feet. We did not get much response on our room with a view comment with the host. I can see why you would like this place if you stay in the other better rooms. The terrace is pretty impressive for a casa and the meals are fine. These front rooms 3 and 4 also suffer from the diesel fumes coming from the road 50 yards away.

Reviewed By Ken JThis is a beautiful casa owned an operated by some of the friendliest and hospitable people who you will meet in Cuba. This was our second stay at Hostal Los Amigos and can't wait for our third. Daniel is a terrific cook and food and drinks are always available and promptly served. Yasmina has a wealth of information about the area and is a tremendous help. It is about a 15 minute walk to the public beach and the big hotels. Why anyone would stay in an all-inclusive when there are people like Daniel and Yasmina ready to offer so much. We highly recommend this casa.

Super great stay!!
Reviewed By FarAway643113Place was very clean. the hosts were nice and helpful. It took us about 6 minutes to walk to the beach. The room had ac. Enjoyed the balcony. We paid a few dollars extra for our host to cook and it was worth it. It was a great way to experience a typical Cuban meal.

Stopped on a bike tour
Reviewed By Chad WWe were traveling thru on a bike tour. Very clean very nice people. Good place to stay . Ok restaurant next store really great one about 1/2 mile south. Mr. Martinez has a taxi at fair rates too. He can pick you up at the airport. Oh about 3km from the beach and the beach is fantastic.

Reviewed By Gema GEstuvimos en junio. Cuatro personas, habíamos reservado las dos habitaciones. Llegamos con nuestro coche y aunque las indicaciones de booking no son correctas, es fácil llegar. La casa se ve desde la carretera. Chino y su esposa son estupendos. Nos recibieron de maravilla. Las habitaciones están en la planta superior de la casa, con escaleras independientes, y eran muy amplias. Los colchones firmes y cómodos. Tienen un refrigerador en cada habitación, como suelen tener todas las habitaciones que hemos reservado. También aire acondicionado. Todo absolutamente limpio, el baño grande también. Agua caliente. Nos prepararon un desayuno exquisito y abundante a la hora q les pedimos. También comimos en la casa, abundante y muy bien cocinado. Estaba delicioso, una comida muy sabrosa y muy rica. Calidad relación precio no puede ser mejor. La playa está muy cerca y se puede llegar andando. Volveremos sin duda, la casa está muy bien y la atención es estupenda.

Reviewed By 88Tamara88Estuvimos tres noches en uno de los mejores apartamentos que hemos visto durante nuestro mes en Cuba. Habitación muy amplia, con un buen baño y un recibidor amplio con nevera y mobiliario de sobra para el relax. También puedes relajarte en el jardín que tiene la casa en compañía de los pavos o pasear entre las palmeras. Está a 5 minutos andando de la playa. Cuenta con un restaurante propio donde degustar unos desayunos o comidas estupendas. La atención de los dueños fue excelente.
