Reviewed By Huma0210Booked this hotel for short trip with family in july. Air condition would turn off every 1.5 hour so i was up every two hours at night to turn the air condition on. The room had no electrical kettel. There was no refrigerator. We had real difficulties storing food and most importantly milk for our 2 years old son. But the good thing was that rooms were big and very clean. They would clean it everyday and give us new towels. I dont think i would ever stay there again. Not with kids, never.

Pleasant Hotel Stay in Goppingen for 3 weeks
Reviewed By Lederhosen64I stayed in this "very clean" Family owned Hotel for 3 weeks - The accommodations were fine - comfortable bed, linens, pillows, towels with daily Housekeeping service. Rooms are a bit on the smaller side but adequate. A Breakfast buffet is included 7 days a week with the room price and it is very nicely presented and maintained throughout Breakfast hours. Traditional European breakfast that includes, Scrambled eggs, Bacon and cooked sausage links. They do have English speaking staff which is nice. They do have "Limited" parking if you have a car and it is very safe but at times a challenge to get a parking space and then you can park on the street in front of the hotel. I will return in the future and would say that you will enjoy your stay at Hotel Hohenstaufen - Very centrally located.

Excellent, centrally located hotel, shame about the stairs!
Reviewed By maceng-chattanWe stayed here while visiting Faurndau nearby. The hotel is very well located in the centre of the town, but not the easiest to find the way to! It’s easy enough when you know, but the first time is difficult. Sadly, it has no parking, although there is SOME free overnight street parking nearby. Failing that, it’s a car park, of which there are many around the old town centre, but no free places for the hotel. The manager did try his best to help us, and showed us the free on-street parking Our room was very good, with a very adequate shower and well- equipped bathroom. No mini-bar, which was a surprise and meant no fridge to keep things cool! There is no lift, so, if on the second floor like us, it’s a bit of a climb up not very wide, or well-lit stairs with marble steps without much grip! Breakfast very good as always in German hotels. We were there for 2 nights, and really have no major complaints. Very adequate for our purpose.

Petit déjeuner internationale, bon mais sans surprise. Machine à pancake en gadget, un peu d'humain serait apprécié pour leur fabrication.

Welcome stop after a long hike
Reviewed By RENATE DAfter a beautiful hike overlooking the Swabian alps we were very happy the restaurant was open for business. We were welcomed by a cheerful waitress. The dinners for all of us were outstanding. I am still dreaming about the Weck Knödel with mixed wild mushrooms. Other family members were raving over the maultaschen so perfectly prepared. After our lunch we enjoyed the lovely terrace for some desserts. I would highly recommend this restaurant Ich hoffe im nächsten Urlaub es wieder zu besuchen.

A small Gem
Reviewed By Chet DThis hotel is quiet, comfortable, and just a little off the beaten path. We had a double room with a large balcony and a view of the beautiful, pastoral landscape. Every room has a good view. Our small dog was readily accepted (15€ charge) and joined us at the hotel's restaurant. The restaurant was extremely good, as could be seen by the many locals dining there, both at lunch and dinner. The small staff worked hard to please. The only slightly negative is the breakfast was barely average (not created by the restaurant.
