This is a family run hotel that offers the facilities and kitchen of a larger luxury hotel with the personalized, attentive service of a small family run hotel. Spent a couple of days here to relax after a hiking trip in Tirol and was very impressed. We will definitely be back again. ?

Reviewed By Christian RWe know the Hotel for quite a few years and find at every visit some improvements. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. The typical Austrian "Landhaus" style makes them very cosy. One of the great aspects of the hotel is the restaurant with its cleverly designed layout, giving one the feeling of privacy. The food, including the breakfast and salad buffets, is excellent. The hotel is family run and the presence of the family members is felt . We´ll be back!

Reviewed By Ieva PWe planned to stay there 1 week with two small kids (2 and 4). As a result we stayed just half of the planned time as we were asked to leave hotel by the owner because we complained about kids club. And we complained about kids club because they were not changing pamper often enough, the babies bottom was red, and the personnel put it on diarrhea what the baby did not have in fact. To prove it we even went to local village doctor (pediatr) who checked the baby and said that there is no sign of diarrhea and baby is completely ok. We showed the doctor's paper to the hotel owner afterwards and asked to give money back for that day when we could not use kids club and therefore could not go ski (as it was winter and our ski holiday with that hotel) and do nothing that day. He refused and said if we do not like it we have to leave the hotel, which we did. Not even to mention that day before they also called us from kids club already after couple of hours and told us to take back our kids because of apparently they cried.

The room was exceptionally well designed and a pleasure to live in. All the little details were beautiful. Also, the service was personal and nice. The lake is a bit chilly, but no problem to swim in. A great stay

A perfect place to relax
Reviewed By P1704JTkarinelWe can not find words to describe the nice time we had there in spite of the awful weather and the covid situation which by the way the hotel takes very seriously offering the possibility to get tested on-site .. we had reserved superior room which was cleaned each day with the best care. The service in the whole hotel is impeccable from the reception to the restaurant and bar. The director is very involved and the whole team seems to enjoy their job and pride themselves of work well done. A general good mood that is palpable by the guests . the big positive surprise for us was the quality of the food at the restaurant especially the breakfast and dinner ..simply delicious and creative! If I had to make 1 negative comment I would say one of the ladies at the wellness spa does not see it correct to wear a mask as "she will never get sick from covid "... a bit of a no go when you are touching bodies of guests all day long and some may be risk patients .. even then, we had a fabulous stay in a hotel very clean and offering enough activities for all ages. A great location where going up the mountain ( weather allowing) is a dream with a golf cart or ride around the lake with an e-bike. At the hotel, the indoor pool is clean and so enjoyable on rainy days, and on sunny days the outdoor pool and pond ( cold but nice) are a dream.. We never felt there were too many people in the pool even with a fully booked hotel. Again the genuine kindness of the whole staff ( a special thank you to reception and restaurant) made the stay a true delight .. there is down the street a small shop to get basic things. also, a very dog-friendly hotel and town that even has a dog beach on the lake .. do not miss out on the nice chill-out bars and cafés on the lake. We totally recommend this hotel, in this area, it is definitely a good choice.

Reviewed By HWTrWe spent one night here before travelling on to Italy. The room was simply wonderful. We had 2 balconies and a view of the Achensee. It was situated in the external building of the hotel with it's own entrance. Dinner and breakfast were included and were very good. The staff is wonderful and I'd like to thank Herr Jaud especially. We had a covid related question and upon arrival he had made sure that was taken care of without us really expecting it. It made for a very relaxed stay and I can only highly recommend this hotel.

When there is written on the website best breakfast in town I would call it best practice I ever had. Every day a new surprise visited our table. Waffles, pancakes, little tries and tastes. The coffee selection is richer than in most specialty coffee bars . Teas, cheese, at least 15 types of oats, healthy toppings. Honey from their own bees. Everything fresh and local. You come in and join Roland, the owner in his passion for excellent and sustainable products. For our dog, an extra bag was prepared, she also got little extras, and was more than welcome. Another highlight: the tour with snowshoes into the dark, under the stars. Magic of the mountains. If you want to get into the beauty and life, the vivid in human beings, and dive into the wild of your soul, natures‘s zen. Go there. Never seen a place equipped with so much love and authenticity.

A room with a view
Reviewed By Ander12The entire hotel had an exceptional make over and the hand of a highly talented interior designer was certainly noticeable. The room was very clean with a south facing balcony and amazing views onto the mountains. The room was equipped with an infrared cabin, a water fountain and a coffeemaker. Breakfast was luxurious and delicious and the staff was well trained and very service orientated. We had a most pleasant stay in this hotel and would highly recommend it.

Pristine solid 4 star hotel
Reviewed By Gary GHotel Auszeit Achensee Room 107 Pristine, comfortable, a solid 4 star hotel and accoprding to the management in a more off the beaten path for Americans. A 25 minute drive up from the main Innsbruck – Munich autobahn is the resort Lake Achensee. But more importantly a 2 hour drive south from Munich. The hotel is in the middle of a cow pasture with good views of the mountains from both sides of the hotel. To the East the lake views are what I would call “partial” due to other hotels. If there is a price differential I would not pay it. Apparently no a/c but comfortably heated. Parking, laptop sized safe, good brekkie with my gold standard of smoked salmon, mini-fridge for storing your goodies, wi-fi, Russian TV in English and Red Chinese Documentary's with English subtitles. All sorts of surrounding restaurants and the walk along the lake within 150 meters. My only negative comment would be the availability of ice for drinks in room. Great place to stay.
