Casadoca Boutique Hotel, a pioneer of its kind in Con Con, offers an excellent opportunity to relax overlooking the Pacific Ocean, with all the comforts and conveniences of a luxury destination. The renovation of an old house built in 1946, of majestic and imposing facade, made it possible to turn it into an exclusive and elegant boutique hotel, with 9 unique rooms. In each one of them you can perceive its magnificent past, while enjoying a homely and welcoming atmosphere. Each of the rooms has a unique style and charm, to enjoy unforgettable moments and some rest and relaxation. Several rooms have private terraces overlooking the ocean or garden, 400 thread count sheets and duvets, and goose down pillows and featherbeds. Pakistani cotton towels, showers with double size shower heads and some individual Jacuzzis bathtubs, make the bathroom a true pleasure. The bedrooms also have LCD flat screens with ipod connections, a hairdryer, heating, WiFi and a safe.

Reviewed By TigerTravelMasterI just finished a 9 day stay at Casadoca in Concon Chile. Many of the hotel's small details made the entire stay perfect. The hotel has only 9 guest rooms... very peaceful and quiet... with adequate gated parking. Most of the rooms are located in the main building and access requires the ability to negotiate a couple of flights of stairs. I had a prime room which has a patio balcony overlooking the ocean. The view from the room overlooks a beach and the local Marina area.... amazing. The bathroom was large and modern with a great shower and Jacuzzi bathtub. Plenty of hot water... high on my list of necessities. Complimentary hot breakfast was served in my room (you have a choice of locations) every morning at the time I specified. The room was well appointed and the king bed very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful and spoke English. The views from the lobby area and small restaurant are spectacular. The Spa looked nice and can be reserved for private use, although I didn't use it. The hotel has a small restaurant that caters only to guests. I only ate there once and the service and ambiance were excellent... the food average. A good option if you don't feel like going out. There are several very good restaurants within walking distance. I recommend Casadoca very highly!

But the most unfortunate thing was bathing with such sudden changes in temperature, at times boiling hot and at others very cold, it was very unpleasant. It was a technician to check and told us that he would report it to reception. Absolutely no one contacted us back, and when we asked, they didn't know anything, lousy service

Concon Chile comfort
Reviewed By MaynetwoWe stayed at the Blumen Platz for three nights in December 2011 and totally enjoyed it. The gardens and the landscaping is a trasure and the view of the ocean is spectacular. Extreemly friendly hosts and the staff are always there to assist. It is not the easiest place to find but is definately worth the effort.

Was welcomed by the lovely couple Paula and Leon into a family style no frills but all comfort vacation stay. The family team does everything to make sure guests feel welcomed, they picked me up from the bus station, drove me to the supermarket and were always ready for a chat and some laughter. I stayed in a room with double bed and access to the upper terrace which provided the perfect sunset view with pelicans cruising and seagulls sailing overhead. Hope to return many times.

A Perfect Place to Rest
Reviewed By JerryA320Azul Pacifico is a small boutique hotel overlooking the sea at Concon. It is very clean and has all of the expected amenities. It is adult only and not a partying place. Just restful where you can be lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves crashing on the shore. Breakfast is provided in the small dining room overlooking the water. Antonia will make you whatever you want. I especially liked the homemade jams, blended juices, and breads. The hotel is in a very quiet residencial neighborhood, walking distance from many restaurants. Uber would also be available for those without a car. Valparaiso and the beautiful coast north of Concon are a pleasant and interesting side trip. Antonia and Francisca would, I am sure, be happy to suggest an itinerary. If you are looking for a small and peaceful place to go that is different from the big hotels, Azul Pacifico is the place to go. You will truly be treated like family and I intend to return soon.

Then a few more steps will take you to La Boca beach, widely known as a surfing spot but also ideal for horseback riding, paragliding, kayaking or just a long sunset walk. A cultural day trip to Valparaiso (30-45 min by car/ public transportation), the bohemian and historical port city of UNESCO World Heritage Site is another must-do in the region.

Reviewed By Darryl CFor the price one can't beat Riomar for economic accomodations in a beautiful setting. Yes,it's a bit dated and the parking situation is atrocious but the cleanliness, very helpful staff and great balcony (with BBQ!) easily make up for any shortcomings. It was great to explore the local fish markets and have the luxury of preparing the catch of the day in the privacy of your own terrace. Marek, Pablo and staff are extremely accommodating and friendly. The housekeeping staff does an excellent job every morning .(...although a bit stingy with soap and using the same towels for several days). We spent 6 days in the Concon area and we were so glad to come "home" every day to Riomar. For a reasonable price, great location in a clean, secure and welcoming hotel, Riomar is super. Thanks Marek!

Nice garten for kids and good location
Reviewed By eum456The garden is very nice... the location is perfect, next to a lot of restaurants and on the beach. so with children is the perfect location. The staff is really friendly, helpfully and the deco of the rooms to gather together is really really nice. I can not give so much stars, because the room was already old and needs some reconditioning. plus.. the price was a bit overprice for what that room offered.

Reviewed By ElineFreimThis hostal has a very high standard! It reminds me more of a hotel, there is no dorms just single/double rooms. It is very nice and clean, and the staff is super friendly. Great breakfast, hotel standard of this as well. 3 minutes to walk to La Boca beach where you can surf. There is also many restaurants at the beach. Close to bus stops. Concón in itself is not a touristy place, so prep your spanish before going. Didn’t meet many that spoke english in the city or in the hostel.

Great location and friendly staff
Reviewed By aliceorrellThe location is great. We could walk to many restaurants and beaches and the Jumbo grocery store is a short drive away. Even though the building faces the water, so you think that would be west, it is actually facing north, so the patios/balconies are almost always shaded. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The kitchen had less than the bare minimum. That is my only complaint. There was no sharp knife or baking dish to use in the oven. There was a salt shaker, but no pepper. Typically in US rentals, there are more non-perishable staples and kitchen gear left behind by other renters. We left the good knife, glass dish, and extra cutting board we bought at Jumbo so hopefully the next renters get to enjoy those!
