Reviewed By PhdC71If there are few magic places, this is definitely one!!! Incredible scenery between sea and mountaine, unbelievable views. But also: nice and comfortable rooms, and very friendly staff. And a dinner with lobster spaghetti on the terrace witb the gorgeous view made it perfect. And go visit San Frutuoso from there! We will definitely come back!

BBQ Lodge is a recently renovated villa perfect for up to 10 people; owners who go out of their way to look after you; luscious breakfasts laid out on the terrace; amazing views; green surroundings; immediate access to the Portofino National Park with plenty of short and long walks to explore; 15 mins walk to the sea and Camogli; a scooter ride to Portofino; canoeing to Punta Chiappa....

Reviewed By Escape60033958019Renzo's beautiful accommodation is a delight. The view from the terrace is breathtaking and the delicious local breakfast was varied and lovingly prepared. Renzo is a warm, communicative and truly engaging and generous host. His tips for restaurants and activities were invaluable in getting to know Camogli and the region at its best within a short time. We appreciated the conversations about food, music and culture. We felt very comfortable - thank you for a great stay Renzo!

Waste of Time!

But hotel and restaurant closed What more can I say about this place as we wasted nearly an hour looking for it? Several times this week Tripadvisor and booking.com have let us down offering rooms when the hotels are obviously closed. Better to bring direct it seems.

Reviewed By Hesta49Very clean, and welcoming hostess, terrace to sit out on and look over the valley and port. Accomodation basic, Car parking which is good. Steps down to the town do not underestimate the walk down and back up again in all takes about 25 mins down if you are fit. Dont try and climb in the dark as its unlit. take the car into the village as taxis charge approx 25 euros at night to travel 4 km. Saying that Camogli is beautiful a real unspoilt fishing village

Reviewed By Janneke23hMe and my boyfriend stayed here for 4 night and we had an amazing time. The place is Very charming with big light rooms and the owner Alessandra is Very warm. She also has the sweetest dog. Every morning, a delicious and extensive breakfast was served on the balcony with a nice view on the village and the sea. The accomodation is very close to the harbour and beach. We thought this was the perfect place to discover Camogli and other villages of the Ligurian coast.

Reviewed By valentinal138Io e mio marito arriviamo al Carrick Hotel insieme ad un’altra coppia di amici con un bambino di un anno e mezzo. L’hotel si trova in una posizione molto comoda, strategica per raggiungere i ristoranti ed il mare di Camogli a piedi. Era circa l’una e le camere non erano pronte. Nulla da dire in quanto il check-in era previsto per le 14:00. Il bambino però doveva cambiarsi, chiediamo un bagno con un fasciatoio ma ci rispondono che non era possibile in quanto non presente. Sempre i genitori del bambino avevano sentito l’hotel telefonicamente il giorno prima per poter avere la conferma che in stanza ci potesse essere una culla (richiesta tutt’altro che strana per un bambino di 1 anno e mezzo). L’hotel conferma la richiesta telefonicamente ma all’arrivo ci informano che le culle erano finite. Chiediamo che si possa trovare una soluzione per la notte in quanto non c’erano altre alternative. Il bambino non poteva dormire in un letto singolo. Usciamo a cena nella speranza che un hotel a 5 stelle sappia trovare una soluzione ma tornando alle 23.30 scopriamo che la soluzione non c’era. Ci raccontano di aver provato a mettere dei cuscini come sbarre e il letto contro il muro per evitare che il bambino potesse cadere. Rimaniamo sconvolti e imbarazzati. Chiediamo di poter parlare con la direttrice in quanto il personale che ci troviamo davanti si dimostra imbarazzato (più di noi), poco qualificato e poco preparato. Magicamente dopo critiche spiacevoli, la culla arriva in camera circa a mezzanotte. Qualche altro punto che credo possa essere d’aiuto all’albergo per migliorare e ai prossimi clienti: -in camera ci siamo trovati una bottiglietta già aperta e consumata a metà -in bagno ci siamo trovati sacchetti di spazzatura non cambiati -il porta carta igienica in metallo si è staccato dal muro durante la notte provocando un forte rumore -il vetro in camera era sporco -il sistema di condizionamento non è all’altezza di un hotel a 5 stelle (o freddo articolo o caldo infernale). Sul letto ancora presente il piumino a giugno senza possibilità di usare solo lenzuolo -a colazione il personale non sa identificare i croissant (ci comunica che erano vuote le brioche ripiene di crema) -sempre a colazione non presente la crema spalmabile al cioccolato (ci rispondono: è stata ordinata, arriverà…) -in sala chiediamo un seggiolone che l’albergo non ha (dove dovrebbe mangiare un bambino?) -non mi permetto di giudicare la qualità del cappuccino mediocre bevuto perché i gusti sono gusti. Una pensione a mio avviso prepara caffè e cappuccini più buoni. Ora, inutile dire che non torneremo mai più in questo albergo, il mio consiglio spassionato è quello di non chiedere 50 euro/al giorno per custodire l'auto ma di pernottare e andare in un albergo a 5 stelle e vedere come vengono trattati i clienti e come sono i servizi che si ricevono. Per completezza di informazioni e per correttezza, segnalo che per i disservizi a noi è stato tolto il costo del garage, ai nostri amici con il bambino hanno scontato il costo del garage e 10€ spesi per 2 bottigliette da 1/2 litro prese al bar. Nonostante fosse stato richiesto il rimborso almeno della prima notte, fatti presenti i vari disservizi ed i disagi, questa non è stata concessa. Evidentemente per la struttura è il giusto trattamento per chi viaggia con bimbi piccoli.

Reviewed By Sofia GMy boyfriend and I came to Camogli for three nights and stayed at La Casa di Elisa. It's located in a small courtyard off the main road. It's a great location, close to the restaurants and the local beach. We stayed at Elisa 1 in a 700 year old building made of rock, I think, which meant no mobile connection or WiFi. The room is on the ground floor so as soon as you step out of the room connection will resume. It wasn't ideal but we dealt with it. The room provides two chairs, so often we would chill in the courtyard with our 4G. The bathroom is quite big and it has a big bath, which was nice. The bed was a bit short and a bit hard but the pillows were very comfy. There was no air conditioning in our room and at first we were only provided with a dusty, slow fan. Not ideal in the summer, although it gets chilly at night so with open windows and with the extra fan on next to the bed, which the host kindly brought us upon request, we were fine. The room is quite exposed to the public and we were often woken up by passers-by since we had left the window open because it was so stuffy. It wasn't the cleanest of rooms: we found it to be dusty and the daily cleaning lady only made the bed and threw away the rubbish. The host was very nice and also gave us tips on things to do. Overall we had a good stay, but we think there is room for improvement.

Incantevole mansarda
Reviewed By Paolomari20Mansarda al 4’ piano(con ascensore) con vista eccezionale dalla terrazza ,attrezzata con tavolo,sedie e comode sdraio, sul porto di Camogli. La sera è possibile cenare sulla terrazza illuminata da romantiche lucine sulla cannicciata. La mansarda è nuova ,arredata con gusto e tutto è estremamente curato nei particolari. La proprietaria ,Daniela ,è davvero gentilissima ma soprattutto molto attenta alle esigenze dei suoi ospiti. Ambiente pulitissimo e dotato di tutti i comfort ,compreso l’aria condizionata.Questo sarà un altro nostro posto del cuore ? Ci torneremo sicuramente ! Grazie Daniela,a presto
