Reviewed By 471mellimPros:nice location, good breakfast Cons: from advertised spa options only pool and sauna were open (only 1 family allowed at sauna, for over >500 rooms!) and no massages available on Sundays (which does not make sense for a hotel offering weekend getaways) - no such information provided anywhere beforehand; service at bar / restaurant was horrible: 1 hour waiting time for drinks, ordered salads were not served within a 2h time frame so we left and ordered pizza externally; booked 2 same rooms and 1 was a lower category, when addressed to receptionist it was confirmed and lower rate was paid (not sure it would have been noticed without our asking); no female hygiene bin at the hotel room; also no phone in the room and when calling the reception from mobile phone, it took ages to get an answer, if anyone answered at all

Reviewed By 230abdulkThe hotel is what you expect when you book a hotel at the country side in Germany. And I mean it in the best possible way! It is clean, comfortable, the staff is friendly and the restaurant is providing you with fresh and very tasty local dishes. OK, the rooms are not the biggest and you will have to climb a lot of stairs to get from the parking to the hotel entrance but other than this you will find hardly anything you can complain about it.

You get what you pay for
Reviewed By Ali HWe used this hotel as a mini break and the offer was good for half-board. The food is however all convenience food and the bedrooms are dated. Drinks are all at an extra cost. The waiting staff were nice and friendly but some reception staff were not particularly helpful. The children were happy with the pool which was heated and clean. The bathroom in our room was tiny and very old. The beds are very uncomfortable and the fire door in the corridor slams and in turn rattled our bedroom door and you thought someone was trying to get in. The hotel needs an overhaul. Luckily we spent the entire time exploring the surrounding area.

Reviewed By Alan TWe stayed at the Ahornhof, on a coach trip with Crusader Holidays and had a wonderful week, or driver was exellant, there are so many thing to do and see in Bavaria. All the rooms were always warm and welcoming, beds comfortable. The food was Bavarian, and enjoyable! So was the beer! It's a long journey but well worth it; we felt safe all the way, even in the snow. Oh, one down side the fire alarm went of once, people smoking in their rooms, the English went down to reception, but no one else took any notice! If you're not on a coach, you'll need a car

If you even doubt my review, take a look at their reception on the guests who keep coming back. Yes, there are records and averagely, people kept coming back 10-15 times (not days. Its 15 times!) Top the chart, a family that had returned 50 times! This is how actions speak louder than words! Food One of the place with best ham and meat!! They have a butchery just right infront/next to the hotel so the meat they served are fresh and good grade! The meat tartar prepare is sooo good. The Ham spread as well. We had traditional Germany dishes which are both excellantly prepared! Price It is really reasonably priced. EUR 5/pax for Breakfast. Seriously, they deserved to be praised for such a nice place and yet with affordable price. Even the dinner and wine are so reasonable. Will make an effort in future to revisit for longer stay. Thanks to the friendly staffs and the superb good food served.

Reviewed By Babsie59We stayed in Landgasthof Euler for 4 nights in Feb 2020 and had a very good experience. The rooms are newly renovated in a very nice style which we would call "minimalistic Bavarian", i.e. timber, warm colours. The bathrooms are brand new. The hotel is quiet. We had a room with an excellent view. But the best is the breakfast - fit for the queen of Saba! Fresh fruit, mueslis of all kinds, home made jams, the Bavarian saussage meat and cheeses, all breads of the earth, juices, coffees, teas - a great start to the day.

Lovely little gem
Reviewed By Katarina_zStayed here with my 4 year old son and friends. Well maintained clean big bedrooms. Its absolutely quiet, which is what i really like (and had a room towards street). Food in the restaurant we had every night and need to say never dissapointed. Well done. Only thing is town Frauenau we could not find any other place to eat. Wifi was weak in our room, but it was not bothering us.

Camping in style
Reviewed By Tanja WWe had the chance to spend a night at the Camping Resort in Bodenmais last week. The Resort is situated just about a mile outside Bodenmais. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Check-in was painless. The Resort is beautiful and newly build. It has a pool, a spa, a restaurant with a Biergarten, a playground and playhouse for kids. Camping Resort is very clean and the food in the Biergarten is amazing. Best of all, however, is the "out-of-this-world" sunset at night!
