Reviewed By kilians2022My girlfriend and I decided to stay at the hotel Drei Quellen for one night. We did not regret our decision one bit! The hotel resites in a beautiful area right next to the Kur Park where you can undertake several hikes and walkes in a very scenic landscape. The hotel itself is gorgeous with great spa offers! The rooms alone are outstanding, with great bavarian charme but not cliche, very clean with a lot of space and a beautiful bathroom (the rain shower is awesome!). Also the personnel is very professionel, friendly and attentive! All of our wishes and expectations have been excellently fulfilled and even beyond. We were very fortunate to attend the gala dinner and experience the hotel kitchen through a five-course menu which was just plain perfect. The food and options for breakfast were unbelieveable delicious, too! I would, without a doubt, recommend a stay at this hotel, even if it is just for one night! We loved it! 5/5!

Nice place for a weekend....
Reviewed By Bhargav MMy Wife surprised me with a weekend away to this facilities. She got a cheap offer for a 2 nights-3days stay including breakfast and dinner for two. The location/area around this hotel is very famous for rehabilitation for aged and/or physically disabled people. Also, there are many Golf course both full size and mini golf. Having said this, this area is filled with hotels and vacation apartments. The drive to Bad Griesbach is very pleasant, specially during summer time. As you arrived you will find yourself at a big round about and arrows pointing in every direction for different hotels and apartments. for Fürstenhof Quellness- und Golfhotel, you need to drive out of this round about ( not directly going to the basement garage) and drive past the bus stand. just before you think that you are leading to a wrong place, you will see direction to basement parking for at least 10 hotels, and one of them is Fürstenhof Quellness- und Golfhotel. Follow the yellow line to get to the correct parking basement. Its not hard to find correct parking as it sounds. As soon as we step in it was clear that these place is well past its prime, and wants the 80ties back. The lift was broken so we took steps with our luggage, but still there was a button to press and call help if needed. The dim-lighted hallway and staircase took us to the well-lit and grand reception. check-in was easy, fast and efficient with all needed information given right away. Well-come to Germany. We were allocated Room 327 with a quick apology for broken lift, and direction to other functioning lift. The Room and hotel was clean and neat. Bathroom relatively new/renovated, free wifi, cable TV, mini bar and a locker very slimier setup to many other hotels. the view from room balcony was to the pool, and over looking the valley, a nice view. The food on both nights was, lets say not exceptional but also above average. with good selection of wine and beers. same was for the breakfast. there was always plenty to choose from, and many options available. the pool / Therme area was nicely done, clean and with enough towels and a pool bar. there is a solarium and sauna area and enough sun beds that even Germans do not need the feel to reserve them. :) water, tea and apples were to grab for free at the Sauna station. We hung out at the pool side all 3 days, going to the pool for a dip, 135cm deep, and to the indoor/outdoor Jacuzzi. very relaxing, peaceful and slow times. the only drawback was that at the pool side there was no wifi reception, which was very good in the room. The average age of the guests was i guess around 70, but there were some young couples, and one or two families with kids. The staff was friendly, always ready to help. I do not say that it was the best stay, but for a weekend stress-buster this place was perfect. the price we paid via this offer, was a good value for money.

Reviewed By kacab1234positive: friendly personnel (reception, waitress) free wifi (multiple devices) - 2,0 Mbps pool area negative: rooms are outworn mattresses are too soft pigeon problem - these birds are disturbing the morning rest due to their loud noises - they are using the balconies as resting places -> noise, droppings bell tower - bells are ringing hourly - disturbing the rest bathroom is tiny: only 1 person max - difficult to towel oneself off inside - difficult to leave the shower breakfast (selection) gets boring after some days password for wifi has to be collected at reception and signed off for (ridiculous) free fruit all day - but everyday only apples, apples, apples ... as if there were no other fruits parking garage - parking space too small for medium sized cars average guest age (not only in this hotel): 65+

Reviewed By Bryan WWe ended up here from a bus tour. The place is beautiful, the food good, and service great. It doesn't seem to get a lot of international guests but handled our large group easily. It is built for the old European climate and has no air-conditioning which made it hot during the day in the current heat wave. Opening the doors and windows cooled the room quickly in the evening.

Reviewed By Catalin II, my wife and our 4 years old daughter stayed in this hotel for 6 days in August. We stayed in a family suite, not very large, but enough for a family with only one child. This doesn’t include one of the bathrooms which was very small and uncomfortable. The furniture and the painting of the room were worn out, quick refurbishment being a must. The room and the public areas were very clean and well maintained. Concerning the hotel buffet restaurant – breakfast was pretty good although repetitive, but the dinner was close to a disaster. Just a few dishes, not very tasty at all. Very far from a 4 star hotel requirements. We couldn’t resist more than 2 dinners there. That’s why we had two times dinner at Zum Heuringen, the Austrian restaurant in the same building, and one time at the Maximilian and Furstenhof hotels. Huge improvements in the quality of food and even service. We advise everybody to reserve dinners at these restaurants and to avoid the hotel restaurant in the evening. The hotel is not at all orientated to the foreign tourists, all around the hotel all the written information is only in the German language and even most of the personnel not being very good at English (and I mean even front desk personnel). Good kids club although most of them didn’t speak English. Not entertainment at all provided during the evenings. The outdoor swimming poll was pretty crowded in the afternoon, and that’s why we used it mainly after 5.30 pm when most of the guests were preparing for the dinner. Speaking about Bad Griesbach Therme, it’s a small resort with a few hotels, suited for old people looking for treatment and for golf players, the resort and the surroundings having not very much to offer for other types of tourists. The bicycle routes are most of them parallel with roadways and all you can see during bike riding are cornfields. If you want to walk, in about 15 minutes you can make a complete tour of Bad Griesbach Therme ….Nordic walking is also near cornfields… Although not being very expensive, for a 4 star superior hotel, Das Ludwig should offer much more.

Reviewed By Magda Kwe have checked in late at arround 18:00... was a woman at the reception who did not speak english..... she gave me someone else's rooms......lucky we checked and came fast to change they keys. the rooms were clean....comfortable ...but no toiletries after we took the the luggage up i return to pay...she was gone.....and no one answered the phone written on the door sticker.... the next morning we left early...still no one there at 7:30...so i had to write throw the booking site to ask for an details regarding the payment.... i got the info regarding the payment and they were very nice on the phone. maybe a different person at the reception would be an improvement.....i could not get the wifi code or ask about anything.....even though she was a nice lady....hard to comunicate

Not 5 star, but nice
Reviewed By keith_hawesWe visited during "c times" therefore there were some limitations (for example bar closed). We were unaware of the underground car park, some notice of this would have been nice, as the Sat nav takes you to the front of the building which is pedestrian. The welcome was not warm and we found our room, by ourselves, which was very nice, clean, well styled BUT without air conditioning. The pool is small and there is a limited amount of sunbeds, there is no service in the pool area but they will bring drinks if asked. Breakfast buffet was very good and the waitress's were very nice and helpful. Fr Renate Schuetz is worthy of a special mention , for her friendly and efficient service in the evening, It was an enjoyable stay.

Relaxing place
Reviewed By Standa SWe travelled to Bad Griesbach with my wife for a sporting (cycling) and relaxing on week vacation. The hotel is part of Bad Griesbach Terme, a newly (1990's?) built location approx. 2 km off the town of Bad Griesbach. Bad Griesbach Terme is like a town of itself, and consists only of hotels, appartment houses and similar establishements. All surrounded by forests or parks. It was very pleasant to walk around in the evenings. All the parking facilities are underground, which helps. The hotel itself was well equipped for what we wanted - a bicycle room is available in the underground garage, the hotel is connected to the neighbouring hotel Fürstenhof and guests may use the spa facility (pool outside, pool inside, steam chamber, whirlpools, saunas). We spent our days cycling and then had a relaxing time at the spa. Room was good size with a terrace (ground floor), it appears all rooms have terrace or balcony. We travelled with our little dog and it could stay at the terrace during the day when we were out cycling. Everything was clean, service good, staff helpful. We had a half board, with three course menu for dinner to be selected the day before. Food was very good and plenty. There might be an option to have breakfasts only and try different restaurants around (in the other hotels) for dinner. Buffet breakfast with good choice (but no hot food, except for scrambled eggs twice a week). It should be noted that in our 40's we were by far the youngest guests of the hotel. The guests of this hotel (and apparently others in location) are in vast majority seniors, pensioners, spending their time relaxing. We met almost no children.
