Reviewed By Loredanac08a wonderful experience, a very nice and clean hotel, the food was excellent, the waiters very friendly, we stayed 4 nights with 2 small children who had fun at the hotel pool, we could visit the city center hotel with a beautiful view especially in the evening, the wine specific to the area was absolutely delicious, and the price was not high compared to what it offered, they followed all the rules covid (for us coming from uk a little too many rules, but if in Germany there were others compared to those in uk , we had a little more freedom, we didn't need gloves at the restaurant).

We were totally happy with what we found - a very clean, well arranged hotel with many amenities - several temperature saunas, steam bath, tanning area, relax rooms all over, nice Asian garden stocked with Carp and turtles. The half board was terrific, the choices were endless and just great tasting. Sparkling local white for breakfast every morning (only after a 20 minute treadmill 15% @ 6 km/hr and 20 minute swim in the great pool) including a wide array of fine breakfast dishes. The staff were all friendly and were efficient all the time. We will return, without question! It is on the main Wine route, so it is a good central base...

The hotel by itself is a solid 4 star. PROS: Perfect location. Pool and sauna Quality breakfast buffet Fantastic view of the Kurpark. Back building facing Kurpark, room 405. Friendly staff CONS: Check in was a little slow TIPS: Ask for a room in the back building facing the Kurpark Get a superior double room, they have a balcony

Reviewed By de-sanBloody hot in summer, no AC and no fan. Breakfast is inside. They have a lovely terrace but boy don't ask to use it for breakfast. No again a bloody hot breakfast room is prepared for you. Skip it and find somewhere else to sleep.

Reviewed By Bart_simpsonCanadaStayed one night. The hotel is set among the vineyards approximately 2 minutes from Bad Durkheim. There are walking and biking trails through the vineyards. The staff was very accommodating and helpful.

A pleasant stop
Reviewed By Mark LA nicely kept, moderately sized hotel far enough away from the centre of Bad Durkheim to make driving easy and escape any crowds. Liked the comfortable room, the clean and modern bathroom, the breakfasts, the ample parking space and the relative ease of access from the main road. Wasn't sure what we'd find based on the photographs, but the interior outperformed expectations. Would happily stay here again.

A historic building renovated for comfort
Reviewed By Carol0910This is a small hotel that had never had English speaking guests before. However, they were wonderful and treated us very well. The building is very old but has been renovated to include modern bathrooms. The stairs are spirals and can be a little challenging but make for a lovely atmosphere. The breakfast was simple but very good and pleasant. The restaurant was very good with a lovely waitress who translated the whole menu for us. They even made a special apple strudel for my husband when he ordered one. This is not a luxury hotel but it is very clean, comfortable and unique. It is up the street from a winery which we visited
