Would definitely recommend this location to others. It has easy access to the CrossIron Mills mall and the airport.

Reviewed By donaldsI4790DCStayed at the comfort inn in Airdrie Alberta with my family for two nights. Stepped on something on the floor. It was a hair clip with a baggie full of white powder in it. I can only assume it was a BAG OF COCAINE. Took it to the front desk and explained that I have a 4 and 7 year old daughter in the room and I do not appreciate them leaving harmful and illegal substances in the rooms. Told the front desk person my room number and name. She only said she didn’t know what to do. The next day my wife went to the front desk to ask what was being done. “My manager isn’t here till Tuesday” today isn’t Thursday and no one from the hotel even bothered to take the time and contact us. So if you’re looking to party I’d say the comfort inn is the place to stay. If you’re worried about your children being poisoned I wouldn’t recommend it.

Reviewed By skylartooth1Enjoyed our stay here immensely. The hotel was accessible, lots of parking, clean, updated, and staff were friendly and courteous. The bagged breakfast was reasonable given the times. The pool/slide and arcade room were a hit with the kids. Would definitely stay here again.

Reviewed By joanne bAll the staff were friendly and helpful right down to the cleaning lady and maintenance man. The room was clean, there were lots of towels. Breakfast was hot and delicious and there was a server to help with breakfast making sure nothing ran out, helping with the waffle iron.

Excellent hotel with extraordinary staff
Reviewed By brentzellerMy company booked this hotel for a 2 day business trip to Airdrie. It is conveniently located for our client but also for anyone who is traveling to Calgary. It made a good impression. The hotel appears new and all the public areas were airy, neat, and clean. The room was similarly airy, neat, and clean and I had plenty of room and all conveniences. I stayed on the third floor and faced the front of the hotel. I had no problem with noise. I would rate the free breakfast as better than average for hotels of this type. Overall my rating would have been very good anyway but then something happened. I became ill and couldn't travel. My reservation changed, sometimes on a daily basis, until I had stayed in my room for two weeks. This is when this hotel distinguished itself. The staff were absolutely friendly, helpful, efficient, and I am now going to use a word I don't use very often - kind. They anticipated my needs and often volunteered to do things which are not part of their jobs. They brought breakfast to my room, made sure I had plenty of water and juice to drink, offered to get me cold/flu medicines, and were just generally very solicitous of my health. I did not have a single staff interaction which was not excellent but I would like to mention two people by name because of their help and attention. Sonja Cuthbert (General Manager) and Cheryl Medeiros (Director of Operations) were unfailingly wonderful every day. I am going to make a point of telling family, friends, work colleagues, and acquaintances about how well I was treated by this hotel and its staff. I will make an effort to stay at Holiday Inn Express whenever I have a choice. And to the staff - thank you again.

Reviewed By SeeBeeEssThe property and the pet-friendly room were clean and well-maintained. The staff were pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Unlike some other hotels/motels I have stayed at that reluctantly accept pets but make it extremely difficult for the traveler, this Motel 6 appears to actually encourage traveling with your pet by making booking with a pet simple and easy, by not charging additional "pet fees," by providing free pet waste bags, etc. A special "shout out" to Front Desk Agent, Michael, for his assistance and sense of humour, when I spoke to him to (re)book a room I had earlier unwittingly booked through a disreputable third-party hotel reservation re-seller. Because of the comparatively inexpensive room rates, I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. I have paid a lot more for a lot less and I would definitely stay here again, with or without my pet.

Beautiful hotel located in a quiet area of NE Airdrie, minutes away from Airdrie down town, surrounded by walking and biking trails. 7 minutes from Crossiron Mills Mall. 3 tesla stations to recharge your car while you recharge yourself in the salt water pool and hot tub! Hot buffet breakfast with fresh cut fruit, and lots of waffle toppings! Complimentary wi-fi, parking. Access to indoor fitness centre, business centre and coin operated guest laundry.
Good hotel but didn't really like location
