Wonderfully Friendly Hotel & Restaurant
Reviewed By michael aEvery year I stay at this hotel when attending the OldtimersGrandPrix at Nurburg. The owners are very friendly, the rooms clean and functional. The style is very "Southern German" with lots of wood. Not necessarily to everyone's taste but it is a very clean hotel with a super restaurant. If you like pork this is the place to eat! Bikers should note that they are very welcome here and the roads around here a heaven for two wheelers.

Reviewed By James SI stay here every time I go to Germany. Breakfast is decent. Beds are comfortable. Staff and very friendly and the bar is great. The area is the best place to stay for the Nurburgring with other pubs and restaurants in the area too. Definitely try the ice cream bar over the road!

Spacious and clean accommodation in a fantastic location for the Nordschleife
Reviewed By Chris_H_868438I have stayed at his hotel 5 times and it is always a great base for a group of us to go. Excellent, clean accommodation with good parking and if you have a group of 4+ offers great value for money. You also get a balcony or seating outside. The newer Apartments also offer you the option to park your car directly outside. Located right next to one of the entrances to the Nordschleife, and the track is visible from your room! Additionally, there are a couple of bars / restaurants immediately in front of the hotel. You can also walk in to the Adenau very easily and there is a petrol station and Aldi/Lidl stores within 5 minutes. Good breakfast facilities and friendly staff. I’m sure we will at some point visit again for a 6th time and undoubtedly stay here again.

It’s first class, rooms are fab with amazing views, staff are superb, the Scottish lady on reception is ace, breakfast is well catered for and the little bar is perfect after a day burning rubber. Location is good, lots of parking and a short walk down into the town. It’s currently my number one happy place.

Fireplace romantik , own bread recipe, own meat from the forest and best selection of wine with more than fair prices will give you the feeling like neverwant to leave. Reviewed By rvl1111The welcome was very friendly. Good price for a good and decant price. Room is clean. Bed is good and comfortable . Soap and shampoo available. Because of covid we ate at our room. The daughter of the owner delivered the pizza in the room, just like the breakfast. She was very friendly and helpful. The food and service was excellent. Perfect place to stop for a night to visit Nürburgring and have a good meal!

Reviewed By maro92The hotel "Zum Wilden Schwein" is the "dependence" of the hotel " Die Blaue ecke" in Adenau. The reason of our trip was visiting the area of the Nurburgring. The rooms are clean and basic. The door of the bathroom was not possible to close but the shower was OK. For the breakfast we were forged to go to the hotel "Die Blauwe Ecke", only two minutes’ walk. The meals in the evenings where also basic but not too bad. We had some nice walks in the surrounding woods and the man in the reception was of great help pointing out some possibility's.

Lots of great hotels and restaurants with great food a walk away. We loved their charge system for the bar (record details on a coaster). Lovely rural atmosphere with magnificent views. Definitely the highpoint of five weeks in UK, France and Germany !!! We are certain to come back !!!!!! Service, quality and location (near to Nurburgring) are top class.
