An old (but newly restored) family stone house within an easy five minute walk from Himara's city center and its nearest beach awaits you! A calm atmosphere for all ages is complemented by its garden and friendly owners. Free internet is served all the time and don't be surprised if you are served some of the great mountain tea (a local specialty made with mint), some homemade jam, or perhaps raki to enliven your spirits. Not that they will really need a boost here!There are two dorms upstairs - four beds each, one of the bedrooms has it's own traditional fireplace. The rooms are cool and breezy throughout the day. The bathroom features a shower. The kitchen is on the ground floor of the stone house and is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, electric kettle, coffee machine, toaster, tableware, silverware, pots, pans etc. everything for self-catering. An independent bedroom (double bed +1 bunk bed on demand) in the back of the house, with it's own bathroom and porch, sleeps up to 4 persons. Towels and bed linen are included.Our Garden:Freddo' coffees are served in our garden that features orange trees, pommengranate trees and our own small bamboo 'forest', hammocks and swings furnish this lovely garden. If you aren't in the garden you will probably be relaxing on one of the patios shaded by numerous grape vines.Smoking is allowed as long as ashtrays are used.There are two puppies and a cat in the property.Our hostel is ideal for families with children.All guest should maintain the outdoor environment clean. Property door locks at 12:00 at night and a key can be provided.Please note:Cancellation Policy: 1 day before arrivalCheck In: please inform us about your arrival time. Reviewed By MeshmeshCairoWe booked 2 beds in dorms and 2 twin rooms since we r all friends and when we arrived only king beds available and surprisingly the rate of a double room with shared bathroom in the hostel is more expensive than a double room with sea view ensuite which is ridiculious .... so we decided to leave and the receptionist guy JOSE was extremely rude and the girl working with him too rude also i dont know her name they litterally kicked us from the hostel!!! They really dont know how to deal in a respectful nice way unfortunately. So be aware if u dont like the place they will kick u

Family run, relaxed beach hotel
Reviewed By Mangocurry1We stayed one night only, but I could spend here several days. Family run relaxed hotel, far from busy beaches, with private sand beach. Subbeds included in the prize of the room. Typical Albanian breakfast served at the terasse. The owner is fishing by himself so for dinner we had great seafood. Air conditioning, wifi and parking- all great. I truly recommend and I would come back

Reviewed By AlexhenderAfter a climb of a very stiff road (be careful, the hostel is located far up a hill, very difficult to access by foot if you have heavy bags) we arrived at night around 9pm, and had to wait for an hour for someone to come check us in without any sort of apology. The manager was rude and made us feel we were disturbing him. The whole building is quite run down, surrounded by by landfills and you get sewage smells in the garden most of the day. There was some disgusting smelly water with poo pieces comin out the shower and flowing into the room for two days in a row. The manager got super angry at all the guests in the room, blaming them for throwing toilet paper in the toilets instead of apologizing and trying to find a solution. He started screaming at one of the guest and almost hit him with a chair. The 6 guests in the room, completely shocked, ended up packing their stuff and moving to another hostel for the night. Worst hostel and staff I have ever seen in my life, and ive been to hostels around the world my whole life. Don't get fooled by the nice reviews below, this hostel is a nightmare.

Lovely guesthouse in a quit place
Reviewed By Eline GThe guesthouse is located in a quit town in between sarande and ksamil, which are both a 10 minute drive away. Is is also a five minute walk to mirror beach, which is a very beautiful small beach! The room er had was very good, it had a small kitchen, a loving room and bedroom and a nice balcony. The room was very clean. We really loves our stay here, it was so quit and you could really enjoy the nature surrounding it, it stead of being in the busy sarande or ksamil! Would definitely recommend, also for visiting both the cities surrounding it. Only downside was that they don't have a sign out yet, which makes it a little harder to find.

Fresh and new with bay view
Reviewed By danielwF3952ZZThe Tasos Rooms offered an excellent stay in a building upp a picturesque stair from the beaches of Himare. As the on-prem parking was full, we left the car at the beach parking, grabbed our bags and walked. A family member met us for guidance at the landmark beachview creperie, and walked us up the windling stairs with excellent views. That was an appreciated extra! The place is just/being renovated and was extremely fresh, white, hand-ironed bed sheets, nice tiles and a very clean, no-frills and suited our visit to Himare very well. We guess the view from the balconies is great, but not so much from the ground floor where we stayed.

If Heaven were a hostel, Sarandas ‘Hairy Lemon Hostel’ would be it! Our accommodation is set in a modern apartment building, that’s central, Just a few minutes walk and you’re bang, smack in the middle of where its at! Should you need to cool off, we’re just 20 metres from the sea. Tastefully stylish throughout, with a chill-out area to meet everyone and hear tales of …. well, nearly truths! Relax on one of our balconies and make sure the sun goes down! Enjoy the stunning views across the sea to the beautiful island of Corfu to round off a splendid day of adventure. We have the comfiest hand-crafted beds, so gooood… only the smell of freshly brewed coffee could tempt you from your cocoon! All excuses aside, we have a fully equipped self-catering kitchen, where you can show off your gastronomical delights! And a barbeque spot, especially for seafood hotties. We’re a small, cosy hostel, perfect to mix and mingle with our friends from around the globe.
One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in!
Reviewed By rachpynI stayed here twice either side of a sailing trip in Corfu, once as a solo traveller and the second time with friends. Riccardo and Andre were incredible hosts and looked after us so well - they have excellent suggestions for what to see and do, cook delicious pancakes and coffee for breakfast every morning and will help you out with whatever you need to ensure your stay in Saranda is excellent. The location is superb with access to a beach and loungers just 2 mins away, it's a short walk to the port and bus stops to access other beaches/sites and Corfu. As a solo female traveller I felt really safe in this area.
