Reviewed By pokulowe highly recommend staying in Phong Lan Hotel/Guesthouse. Personnel is super friendly. Rooms are clean. Balkony is nice. Street is calm. Room service tide's every day. All extras, except of breakfast, which is easily found next street in french-sryle restaurants.

Reviewed By RachbbbbChecked in then forgotten about by the reception team so after 20 minutes we decided to remind them of our existence and was shown to the room up the most narrow / steep / trip causing stairs you’ll ever go up. Storage space under each bed is massive, however you can’t swing a cat in the room let alone open the doors to put your stuff in. One bathroom between about 12 people isn’t enough especially in mornings. Bathroom floor is soaking wet so when you are on the loo your feet are soaking in other peoples pubes etc :)

Reviewed By Flyer37477768969Great staff, really helpful! Had the private room which was clean an nice with balcony. Couldn‘t wish for more! It is centrally located in a street with many restaurants an bars. The staff helped to organize the easy rider (motorbike ride) to Da Nang.

The first impression is the window with a glass layer in between to block the mosquitoes, viewing to the garden. It's a beautiful place with green plants located in a quiet street, just a few steps away the imperial city. Booking in advance is highly recommended as the homestay is usually fully booked. Please treat the front desk staff well as she's so kind and honest.

A little noisy in the mornings, but this was just because of building works going on! Lovely family, so welcoming and friendly with free breakfast in the morning!!

Reviewed By Travel592797I booked this hotel on booking.com because of swimming pool and price included breakfast, but when I came the hotel, the owner transferred me to another hotel ( Familiar hotel) without pool and breakfast. I asked her about swimming pool and my breakfast, she told: I can go to Poetic to use them. I was tired for my long trip, so I agreed to stay Familiar hotel , but fortunately , i wasn't crazy enough to walking 300m with a bikini under sunny within crowded uptown for swimming/breakfast ? I leaved Hue earlier 1 day than my plan, it's too hot ?Finally, I decided to write this comment because I found that she cancelled my reservation on Booking.com app, although I stayed and paid my booking at reception. Now I do accessment for Familiar Hotel ?? - Good location - New hotel, good cleaning, good air conditioner - small room - Good receptionist - Drainage system : bad , be carefull when you take a shower on bathroom, water can spilled over the room

The rooms are very nice, big, clean, quiet with very confortables beds. Aircon works perfectly.The sheets were super clean and white with a very nice scent. We had a very nice sleep! Delicious breakfast and fruit is served with the beautiful smile of Leo, Xun Tran's daughter. She is sooo nice and kind. We loved our banh my with op lá! She is always willing to help with a smile as Xun Tran, the father. He is a very kind and generous person, he helped us in all we needed and more. He speaks English very well and smiles a lot.He gave us good advices about places to go in Hue. They took very good care of us, we shared nice moments with them and with Leo's children, they are sooo cute and friendly. Btw, they have very cheap Huda beer!! They booked the sleeping bus to Hoi An for us and was very confortable, big and new one. Thanks you so much dear family for everything, it is so nice meeting nice people with a beautiful heart and a beautiful and true smile like you. Ah! We got our room which was nice, simple and clean - Breakfast was great - We also met an other lady at the reception desk, she wears reading glasses, can’t recall his name but she went above and beyond with all the questions we had for her !! We would return if we pass again in Hue
